I thought that you may like to see some new pictures of Little Jess, I took these just a couple of days ago and you can see how much she has grown, her legs are quite long now, she is still so soft and silky her teeth are as sharp as pins and she is a beauty.

She has had all her injections and is allowed out into the world today, I have bought her a collar, lead and coat so I thought I would give her a little walk and see if she enjoys it.
I have been doing some visiting and I can honestly tell you that I have been blown away by the beautiful creations that I have seen, I am in awe of you all, the creativity is outstanding I am so proud to have you all as my blogging friends

10 Dec 2012

Hi all, I don't know why but I feel rather nervous writing this post, I suppose it is because I have been off for a little while.
Before I start my post I would like to thank each and everyone of my blogging friends for the wonderful e-mails, cards and comments on the post that my son wrote.  I did not know that he had posted that I was not well, he has been so good reading all my e-mails for me.
It really has meant so much to me to know that you have missed me and the kindness that you have shown me is awesome, so I thank you with all my heart.
I am finding it very difficult to adjust to my life without my beloved Polo, I know that I was very upset when I lost him but it seemed to hit me all of a sudden that he was not coming back to me and I was just a broken mess.  I am feeling a little like my normal self today and actually made a card that my mum requested.
I do have a few apologies to make to my DT's as I have not been joining in the challenges and I am so very sorry for that.
I have made a deep shadow box card in the colours of red and white, I have used mainly Kanban Christmas items that I ordered from Create and Craft.
I used two A4 card stock cut at 51/2" across the width, the plain red card is pearlescent, the foiled red and white card is Kanban
I measured each end of the widths at 1/2" and 1.1/2" I used my Spellbinder Scalloped Circle Die cut for the aperture at the front, I used the Kanban Die Cut Glittered Poinsettias for for the inside and some small ones on the outside all have been 3'd with silicone glue, I used extra tacky tape for securing the two cards together, I added some die cut snowflakes red gems, die cut flourish and sentiment.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
I have also entered this into the Christmas Card Challenge at
Money Supermarket there are some awesome prizes for the top 3 winners.
I think I surprised myself by making this shadow box card as I have not been in the most crafty of moods, I do hope that you like it, I will begin doing some commenting over the next few days so until then have a lovely day.
There is a new challenge over at both
I hope you will be able to join them

Tilda X 2 Christmas Card

Today I have a card to show you that I have been making for the last couple of days, it is an 8x8 Octagonal Pearl card which started off as an A3 Centura Pearlescent card, I used one of my boards to emboss the shape.
The papers are from Bearly Mine Designs, Simply Dots and Christmas Wishes sets.
I used the same board to emboss the design of the smaller Octagons then mounted them onto gold linen textured card, the large Octagon I have used gold stickers around the edge.
I used Marianne die cuts for the snowflakes and tree, the central shape is a felt embellishment that I bought a while ago.  The brown snowflakes I used a similar brown felt. I have used two Tilda's a large one and one of my mini ones, the sentiment is also an older stamp from many moons ago.
Finally I added spotty ribbon, flower and pearls.
For the first time ever I have actually completed the inside of a card I used the same paper as on the front of the card, I had stamped another larger Tilda cut her out and put her on the inside with the verse.  The Tilda images have all been coloured with promarkers.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

The challenge this week at

Before I go I just have to say how overwhelmed I am with all the awesome comments that I have received for both the loss of my beloved Polo and the arrival of tiny Jess.
I have shed so many tears reading them all plus the wonderful e-cards and e-mails.  I will never be able to tell you how much you all mean to me, the support, friendship, kindness and encouragement have made me feel full of love and hope.
I want to reply to you all which will take time so I just wanted to let you know that I have not ignored you but my eyes are quite sore and red with all the tears that I have shed.
I love you all you are all very special to me, Polo and Little Jess.

4 Nov 2012

Hi all, today I would like you all to meet my new little baby Jessie.
My son bought this little lady home to me yesterday, she is an 8 week old Jack Russell, she is soooooo tiny.  She has more markings than my darling Polo had but she does have a black spot on her tail/bum just like my beloved Po.

I have given her my Steiff Bear to keep her company in her dog bed until I can get more stuff for her.
My mum has fallen in love with her and spends a lot of time holding her while she sleeps, it is a good job that mum only comes to stay at weekends or I think Jess would think that it is my mum who is her new owner, lol.
I have been grieving for my darling Po so much and I believe a part of me died inside when he had to leave me.
I know that Jess will be spoilt rotten and receive so much love that it will be tumbling over her.
Once again I would like to thank all of you for your wonderful comments they have really helped me so much.
I am hoping to start blogging again later today and will be taking time to visit you all, until then have a lovely weekend.
