Big Hugs and Thank You

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting since my chest infection, which is now subsiding, I am still having a few problems with my breathing but have increased my inhalers so I hope to be back to normal soon.  I did start visiting some blogs in the early hours of this morning and it was a good feeling.  

I have missed you all so much and I needed to thank you for your kindness and well wishes that I have received, you are all so special.  

I have actually managed to make a couple of cards for DT work but as my head returns to Earth I am looking forward to making more. Once again Thank You and I will see you soon.

I have not been around these last few days but I have caught a chest infection which, along with my asthma is causing me a few problems, I hope that it improves soon and I will be back to see you all. Hugs Lorraine x

Creative Inspirations Challenge #45

Morning everyone today we have a new challenge for you at Creative Inspirations and the theme is Halloween/Fall.  

Our sponsor Some Odd Girl  are offering the winner 3 digi images of their choice.

I decided to go for a Fall themed card which I am showing below.

This stamp I have had for a few years and had a yearning to bring her out from the box and stamp her up with SU Chocolate Chip ink.

I wanted to use some different colouring medium for a change and searched for my Inktense pencils and Sansodor which is what I used to colour the stamped image of the Rose Fairy with.  I chose colours that depicted the Fall/Autumn look using oranges, reds, green, brown and yellow. 

The papers are K&Co I distressed the edges then added a strip of SU Choc Chip card-stock topped with cream lace and green ribbon.  I spent rather a long time with the flower display, again trying to use the colours of Fall/Autumn, I added a gold topped pin and some pearls.
