My Second Piece of Therapy

Hi all I was so thrilled to see the comments on my first piece of therapy (see previous posting) that I thought I would share my second with you to see what you thought.  if this one generates the same response then I will surely have some more lol.  

Ok with this one I have used one of my Sweet Pea stamps coloured with Copics the backing papers I believe are K@Co I also used this to punch out the butterflies using both my MS triple butterfly punch and my new SU butterfly punch.  Now I have also used the same paper to create my Roses at the top of the card one big one and two smaller ones.  I used the tutorial from Brenda and have been practising quietly but this one I am so pleased with I used bronze stickles and pearl stamens to enhance the effect.

Once again I have used the easel card fold and the sketch from Paper Sundaes the sentiment is a rubber stamp from Serendipity the die cut is a new Asian die from Nellie Snellen. I have added gold pearls to the butterfly centres.

Some Therapy For Me

Hi folks hope today is a good one for you.  I decided to give myself a little therapy, these last couple of days I have been busy stamping and this is the first card that I managed to complete.  I have used the easel card fold the papers are a mixture of MME and K@Co the stamp is from Serendipity which I have had for some time but never inked and is a Geranium.  I have used Tim Holtz Walnut Stain to stamp the image the distressing around the edges is Old Paper ink.  I used a damp brush to spread the colour then for the first time ever I tried the bleaching effect but I am going to practice a little more because I enjoyed it.  I have added lace, flowers, pearls and a butterfly double mounted. I hope you like it and if you have any advice on any of the techniques I have used please let me know.

A Ladybug....Hi folks I made this card last night for this weeks Motivet challenge based on their sketch I have used one of my new Rubber Stamps called 'Doraline with a Ladybug' I have coloured her with Copics the papers are a mixture, I used my MS deep edge punch added a red ribbon some flowers and pearls I hope you like it see you later. Digital Tuesday Challenge DT Card

Morning all hope you are well.  Today is the start of a new challenge at Digital Tuesday and this week our lovely Maria has chosen the theme 'Scallops'  This is my DT card, I have used a handmade fibre backing paper with some pink Basic Gray, the main scallop and the two little scallops have been cut using my nestie's I also punched out some circles scrunched them up distressed them with Tim Holtz Old Paper ink put a brad for their centres then attached them with glue to the smaller scallops.  The fairy image is from our sponsor this week, My Grafico who have some amazing Digi sets, I have coloured this lovely fairy with Copics.  I hope you like it I will see you all later Hugs to all.

Cute Daisy May DT Card

Sew Many Challenges

Hi everyone first I want to thank you for your comments and support of my work secondly I apologise for not visiting you the last couple of days but I will be rectifying that today lol.

This is my card for this weeks challenge at Sew Many Challenges they are having a blog hop with prizes so if you haven't visited them yet head over there now.

The theme is to use three techniques I have done a stepper card which again is my first but thanks to my new Hougie Board I can now do multi scoring without moving the card, I believe it is the UK version of Martha Stewart and Scor Pal. I have used ink distressing on the punched parts using Tim Holtz Old Paper ink I have also done some stamping on the first fold with Marvey pink colours.  The butterfly image was a freebie this week from Sew Many Challenges which I printed then cut out and mounted 3d with silicone glue onto Nestie Scallop circles.  I hope you like it hugs to all and see you later.
