Prairie Fairy Friday DT Card

Its Prairie Fairy Friday time once again and our challenge this week is Distressing and it is as this is my penultimate card as a DT member for Prairie Fairy Fridays.

Ok this week I have used my new Tim Holtz Distressing tool on the base paper and the second paper I tore in half then dabbed Momento Cocoa ink on the white that was showing, both papers are Basic Grey.  I have used Big Lion and coloured him with promarkers the scalloped circle I also distressed with Tim Holtz ink Walnut Stain I added a piece of raffia wide ribbon some buttons and leaves as I wanted to create the effect of him lurking in the tall grass waiting for his prey.

Prairie Fairy Friday DT Card (edited)

It is time for a new challenge at Prairie Fairy Friday and this week the theme is Eyelets and String and for a little inspiration this is my DT card. Oops I made a boo boo I thought it was eyelets and brads so there is no string shown on my card.  Sorry for the error I put it down to my age and not feeling to good at the moment.

I have used one of Prairie Fairy images and gosh I really fancied one of these while I was colouring it in doesn't it look delicious lol.

I used Pro markers to colour then cut the image out and mounted it on an oval Nestie which has then been mounted on the Nellie Snellen Asian die cut.  The papers are Bearlymine the brown card I have used a MS border punch the eyelets I set with my Crop-a-Dile then threaded some ribbon through added some brads and punched out flowers.

I am also entering this into the challenge at Friends Having Fun Sketch Challenge.

Prairie Fairy Friday DT Card

Hi all today sees the start of a new challenge at Prairie Fairy and this week we would like to see some Texture on your projects.

This is my DT card using a Prairie Fairy image coloured with pro markers I used my 'dreamer' stamp with I thought was quite apt.  I have used some different coloured card and along with the flowers put them through the Cuttlebug using the daisy and Swiss dots folders I have also added a double layer of MS punched borders.  I hope you like it and can't wait to see what you come up with.

Prairie Fairy Friday Dt Card

Hi all it's Friday and the start of a new challenge at Prairie Fairy Friday and this week we would love to see you make an easel card.  This card fold is becoming one of the most popular folds and we would love for you to make one for us at PFF.  

This is my DT card using one of the Fairy's own images available HERE and is called 'Helping Hands. I have used Copics to colour her in the papers are from SU the flowers are from my new Tonic punch which I was treated to earlier this week.  I have also added a sentiment and some gems for some more inspiration please go visit the other DT members their cards are awesome.

I am also entering this into Flutterby Wednesday (open theme) and C.R.A.F.T challenges who want Easter cards.

Prairie Fairy DT - A Bit Late (edited)

My apologies everyone I am a bit late posting my DT project this week, I had to wait for my mum to bring me my glue and tape before I could finish my box.  It was worth the wait though because here it is and I am so pleased with the finished project.  This weeks challenge at Prairie Fairy is to use tissue paper with your project.  I decided to follow a tutorial on SCS and made this box the tissue paper I have used for the inside the butterfly and dragonfly images are from Prairie Fairy and I coloured them with Sakura and promarkers.  The card stock I stamped with a flower stamp from SU with Versamark Dazzle, Champagne, I punched the flap of the box with MS punch then the holes for the ribbon.  I have kept the box open for you to see.

We loved the projects for last week and it was, as always, a joy to visit and see the wonderful creations, hope you will join us this week.

Hi all today is the start of a new challenge at Prairie Fairy Friday's and this week we have a colour combo for you.  This is my DT card using one of the Prairie Fairy images mounted onto Nestie's I have used Basic Grey backing papers green ribbon gems a flower and blue gems.  I hope you will come join us this week we really look forward to seeing you.

Prairie Fairy Friday Dt Card

It's Friday and another new challenge starts at Prairie Fairy Friday's and this weeks theme is 'Buttons and Brads'.  Here is my DT card using one of the gorgeous flower images available to buy from the Prairie Fairy.  I wanted a blue theme for my card and have coloured the image with H20's for a change.  I cut the image out and mounted it onto the oval Nestie the backing papers is from my stash I have added a ribbon some buttons and brads.
