A Nutcrafters Freebie plus Sketch

Hello everyone hope you are enjoying this gorgeous weather it is rather warm great for getting the washing dry lol.  I have given Polo a bath this morning, cleaned out the bird baths and changed a few thing around in the garden. The birds watch me I can feel them they go quiet then when I come in, down they come to inspect my handy work lol.  There are a lot of babies around and the Sparrow's and Starling's are bringing them into the garden to show them where they can eat and drink I have been feeding them about three times a day for the last few days.  I always use brown seeded bread and sultanas there is always a squabble who gets the sultanas first especially the Blackbirds who are not frightened of me at all they actually come right down to me and listen to me talking lol....they are probably the only ones that do....my son certainly doesn't.
Anyway onto my card which is using a freebie image and made using a sketch which are both available from Nutshells new blog (see the posting below).  There is a DT call but I just loved the sketch and of course the image and thought I must have a go at this one and here it is.  I have coloured the image using my promarkers the backing papers are quite a mixture some from Bearlymine (I have ordered the CD and can't wait for it to come) a bit from Funky Fairies and some from my stash I have stamped a sentiment and added some flowers.  Hope you like it and if you lovely talented people feel like having a go then hop onto Nutshells blog.  Hugs to all.

Some Enchanted Evening

Well I have managed to create this card today which I hope you will like.  It is my entry for this weeks Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge.  I have used a Joanna Sheen stamp which is one from a set of two dresses that are based on similar ones worn by Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With The Wind there are sentiments that you get with it but they didn't fit into my banner.  I certainly think this dress would be worn by a Southern Belle for sure.  I stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with a Mica embossing powder called 'peanut butter' and gosh it looks yummy.  I have used a couple of free download papers from Bearlymine which I think suits this particular era well.  In fact I am trying to order the CD with these backing papers on because I have fallen in love with them.  I have added some glitter peel off's for the edgings as detailed in the sketch, printed off a banner from My Craft Studio and added the text also added some flowers and gems which any lady would have if she were wearing this beautiful creation which by the way (nearly forgot) was coloured with H2o's. Hugs to you all.

With Love to You

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the lovely thoughtful and kind messages that have been sent to me while I have been unwell they have honestly helped me fight this ailment.  I always try and say what I feel especially with your lovely creations and when I received your message and best wishes my heart was near to bursting with love and joy.  I don't think you will ever know just how much having you in my life means to me.  So Thank You again and I dedicate my first card of the week to you all.

I managed to settle this afternoon and this is the card I have produced for  Digital Tuesday Challenge  the theme being a 'Tag' card and I am quite pleased with the finished article.  I cut a template from my Cricut the image is from Sketching Stamper and coloured with Promarkers and I have covered it with acetate and attached with brads.  I added some backing paper and pink velvet ribbon some gems and flowers and flower buds the ribbon at the top of the tag card is also pink velvet, hope you like it. Love & Hugs Lorraine x

Second Card for the Day

Well this is my second card today and is one of the few that I have managed to do these last few days.  This card is for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge the theme is to use letters or numbers on your card,  Ok I have added two chipboard letters that say HI I have coloured them in promarkers to match the colour combo that I chose for this card.  The image is from the 'Shy Bear' range and one day I hope to add to this one because they are so lovely. I have used the water colouring technique for this one with a combination of Inktense pencils and Lyra's.  The backing paper is Basic Grey and I have added some pearlescent diamond effect paper that I punched with my Martha Stewart border punch added a ribbon and some flowers.  Hope you like it.  I may not be around for a couple of days as I am being paid an all to frequent visit from my depression but I know I will be back soon Love & hugs to all.

Flutter By Wednesday

Morning dear friends hope you are all doing well and crafting away lol.  I managed to make this card for the Flutter By Wednesday challenge the theme being to use a fairy/butterfly and a saying/sentiment well this is my effort.  I stamped the butterfly onto acetate with black Stazon then glittered it the backing paper is some origami papers that I found quite by accident I have added the sentiment some satin ribbon and a flower. Hugs to all

Just Magnolia and Copic Creations

I think my creative juices have started to run again I have managed to do several cards a couple of which were birthday cards and I am quite pleased with the outcome of all of them but for starters I thought you might like to see my entry for this weeks Just Magnolia Challenge which is based on a sketch and Copic Creations the requirement for this challenge is 'Blond Hair'.  I decided on a pink and brown colour theme using some Funky Fairy's backing paper the rest has all come from my stash.  I have used this lovely sitting Tilda which has been stamped in Versafine Sepia and coloured with copics the numbers I used were Y15, Y17, Y21 for her hair other colours used for the dress etc were E11, E00 and RV13 .  I hope you like it hugs and I will be back tomorrow with some more.
