Hi all, well I have finally had ago at making a white on white card, I have always admired them but shied away from trying one myself, today I have come out of my comfort zone and made this large 8"x8" white card below.
I had to take several pic's because I could not get the right light effect, the roses are white not cream but being at the top of the card they are a little in the shade.
I started off with a piece of A3 Centura White Pearlescent card stock, I cut it down to 8x8 using my Victorian Edge Blade. I used my circle cutter and cut out a 6x6 base then used it again to cut an aperture. Inside the aperture is a 6x6 rosette. The central flower I stamped using Versamark embossing ink, I used Silver Super Sparkle embossing powder for the sparkle, the flower is Elusive Images stamps, I used 3 different sizes 2 large, 2 medium and i small, once I had heat embossed them I cut them out shaped the petals then layered them up, I added Cosmic Shimmer Twinkle Glitter for the centre.
I adhered the large central flower and the roses with silicone glue and added some Silver glitter, I used my Marianne Die cuts for the hearts and butterfly, I embossed the left over Centura card with a rose embossing folder used my Victorian Edged blade to cut the card into 2 squares then cut them in half. I added a computer generated sentiment and a white taffeta ribbon bow.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
I hope that you like my card and have enjoyed your visit I am hoping to come and see you all later, hugs
