Faerie Song Challenge No 2

Well this is my second challenge card which is totally different to the first one I did. I have used a mixture of K&Co and Basic Grey backing papers that reflect the colours in the Faerie I added a swirl which I thought looked a bit like octopus tentacles and added some small flora doodles. Magnolia Vs Stampavie Challenge

I thought I had not only lost my voice but also my mojo but I made this last night and was more than happy with the finished product. This is my entry for this weeks MvS challenge based on a sketch. I have used K&Co backing papers some prima flowers, lace, gems and of course my beloved Tilda. I have coloured Tilda with my pro markers and for the first time used glossy accents so she is all nice and shiny, not sure if it shows up in the picture. Hugs Lorraine x

House Mouse Tall & Thin

This is my entry for this weeks House Mouse Challenge which is called 'tall & thin'. It does make a change using a DL card rather than a square that I normally use. Ok well I have used Elusive Images butterfly backing papers added a strip of gold mirror card with some fluffy wool wrapped round which reminds me of bird feathers. I decided to use this particular House Mouse image because it fitted the card well and I could use two instead of one and have coloured them using my pro markers. I am way behind with my cards this week because of this awful cold bug which I thought was going but to my dismay it has decided it likes me so its sticking around.....wonder when it will get the message that it has outstayed its welcome lol. Oh and I have lost my voice great news for James my son lol. Hugs Lorraine x

Boo Boo No 2

I made another boo boo but I have a good excuse........sounds like I am going to write a poem or something but no not very good at that lol.

I will leave it to you to work out what the boo boo is (if you enter challenges that is) but I was quite happy with the outcome of this card so boo boo or not I thought I would show it to you anyway.

The Pink Elephant Challenge

This is my entry for the new challenge blog the Pink Elephant. For the background I have used two different pink flora doodle backing papers Tilda has been coloured with Sakura pens for a change the pink is Rose glaze and the Sakura black is actually a glitter pen. I mounted Tilda onto a pink oval then matted onto black card and cut around with pinking shears I also embossed the pink oval with the same stamp that I used to make the pink and black flowers and embossed with clear powder. The big flower was also embossed, the pink one I stamped with black brilliance ink and the black one I stamped with versamark and used some candy pink embossing powder but it didn't show up so I used some pink mica powder to try and bring the colour out a bit more.....think that failed (never tried that before). I just felt I wanted to be a little more adventurous after seeing so many stunning cards from all you lovely crafters. Hugs Lorraine.

Faerie Song Challenge No1

Well my friends this is my first entry to the new challenge thread that I found on PCP. I bought these stamps from USA last year and have used them a few times but never for a challenge so whey hey....I love fairies. The challenge was to follow a sketch which I have done, the heart was cut from my Cricut I had to make it big enough for the stamp so on this occasion I used an 8"x8" white hammered effect card as the base card, the heart measures 41/2". I stamped the image in Sepia Versafine and coloured with my promarkers I then stamped some more of the leaves so it not only filled the heart but it looks as if the vine is growing around this beautiful Faerie. I mounted the heart onto the pink and purple square. I then stamped the lovely saying onto the same coloured card. There is a pink and purple border across the middle of the card also in the same colour card stock. I added a few green gems, a few flora doodles, some pink Pearly doodles I found some wooden leaf embellishments which I also coloured green so all co-ordinate and enhance the colours that I have used in the main theme. Sketch & Stash Challenge

Hello everyone this is my first challenge card for a few days due to me not being well, I caught that dreaded cold that was going round and it wasn't nice. I am well enough to do a card so I must be feeling better lol. Well this card is for the Sketch & Stash Challenge. I have used some lovely blue and yellow backing papers and that was what decided me to go for the colour theme for Tilda who I have coloured with my promarkers. I have also added some yellow ribbon and stamped the sentiment onto yellow cardstock. Hugs Lorraine x
