TWO DT CARDS ONE POST

Apologies for being  a day late posting my wo DT cards for both

The theme for ALLSORTS  this week has been chosen by me and it is

CHRISTMAS TIME 

this is my DT card 

I absolutely love this image and I had so much joy colouring him up I have used Sepia tones the papers are from my stash I used my large scallop dies for the central circles and my punch for the snowflakes I coloured the image with a mix of markers, everyone who follows me knows I LOVE all animals, when I was younger I desperately wanted to own my own horse and eventually I did he was beautiful and called Timba we had many happy years together now he is a very happy memory, he was darker than what I have coloured this fella but what a joy this one is.

I have used one of my new Woodware Stamps of a Gnome this one is called Trying it Out For size which is one of the sentiments that come with the stamp.

I used my 8 x8 circle scallop card I the used my large scallop die to build up the centre I used the little snowflake stamp on the base card and I coloured the image with a mix of markers.

IT'S MASCULINE THIS WEEK AT ALLSORTS

WINGS AND TAILS AT ALLSORTS

for my first DT card I have used an image from our sponsor

I coloured this with a mix of markers the background card is from Hunkydory I added some snowflakes

For my second card DT card I used my Woodware Dove stamps and used a mix of markers to colour I added a die cut sentiment pearls, TH Clock face and a snowflake, the background is card from my stash

I'M LATE FOR AN IMPORTANT DATE

 I have rather a long belated post today, I missed posting my Allsorts and We Love Stamping DT cards last week, the reason being..... 

My brother finally got a hospital appointment for his hip replacement operation so I went to stay at mums until he returned home I had Jess and the house to look after but unfortunately I lost internet just for a change, lol.

My partner Dave bought a puppy while I was away she will be living with us in our new bungalow her name is Bella and she is a 12 week old King Charles, a bit of a handful, I am not sure if I can manage a puppy but Dave is totally in love and will be doing most of the work but I have started her training.

So without further ado this is my ALLSORTS DT card for this week the theme is Anything Goes with the option of adding a number I have gone for the Anything Goes option, I have used this lovely card fold the papers are actually card I added a Christmas topper, bow and gold stars.

this is my DT card using one of my older beloved Tilda stamps, I used the TH Clock die cut I added a snowflake and the little central parcel is a brad, the papers are from my CD, I added a sentiment, the image was coloured with a  mix of markers.

Simple as that, any type of Christmas creation which as always must have hand stamping (or digital) to reflect the theme as the focal element of your work. We still see a few regular entries with just a stamped sentiment on an otherwise non stamped piece of work, these entries are not eligible and in future will be removed.

I had an eye operation on Thursday at Cheltenham General, to repair a damaged Retina and the removal of a cataract there had been a cancellation and I took the appointment even though I was absolutely petrified

The op took an hour and since then I have been like a wibbly wobbly jelly, I was talking to my mum in my head all the time I know she would be with me. My partner Dave has been administering the eye drops but at the moment I am unable to see properly, yesterday I slept most of the day so did not do my post I thought it would be easy but it's not.

The other good news is that Dave and I have been offered a bungalow it is beautiful and it is very near where mum and dad are so I can visit almost every day. We still have to sort out the details and sign the contract but hopefully, we will be moving within the next few weeks.

I want to thank you all so much for your continued support and kindness I really hope that one day soon I can return to some sort of normality

I actually have some of these beautiful stamps I have had them for a few years , no surprise there, totally untouched until now I thoroughly enjoyed inking them up.

My stamps are called Fairy Wish and Make A Wish  
because I love Fairies I decided to create not one but two cards, the first one is Fairy Wish the papers are from Bearly Mine (no longer available) I have mounted everything onto black card stock then added a double bow in pink organza, die cut flowers. black pearls and a stamped sentiment

the second card I made features Make A Wish with this one I used a slimline card and stencilled the background, this sentiment is also Lavinia Stamps I added some small black butterflies.

I will be using the abbreviated name that my friends call me which is Lolo.

I have used a stamp set that I won many years ago from Raisin Boat they have been a favourite of mine and I have used them quite a few times, I stamped the flowers several times then cut them out and coloured them with Nuvo markers, the papers are Bearly Mine all have been mounted onto Lynda Chapmans black card stock, I also added a stamped sentiment a die cut butterfly and triple Organza pink bow.

Roses are Red

Hi all hope you are well.  This is my card for the Allsorts challenge which is based on a sketch.  I have used one of my beloved Tilda's holding a rose and coloured her with Copics.  I found some vellum with roses on and cut it into three panels and mounted on the card base added some lace a red bow, pearls and sentiment.  Hope you like it see you all later big hugs to all.

Tilda in the Pink

Finally after numerous attempts at uploading pictures I have made it but now a bit hot under the collar lol.  I have made this card for two challenges which I will list below I have used Bearlymine backing papers Tilda coloured in pro markers and Sakura glaze added some flowers and a sentiment and a few snow flakes with pearls in the middle. The challenges are

Criss Cross for Allsorts

Hi all I am back again with yet another but much larger Criss Cross card and I thank you for the lovely and encouraging comments I have received on the first one I posted. I think I have given you a few ideas and Pinky mentioned that this type of card would be perfect for invitations which is exactly what my son said when I showed it to him. This time I made a 7 x 7 card and added a flower that I made following a tutorial from SCS and is a Dahlia. It looks a bit complicated but if you are used to teabag folding it is on the same lines as that technique. The papers and the birds that I have used you can get from Crafty Ann's site they are from her own line of digital images. I have stamped a leaf design on the papers in Versamark to give it a watermark effect I am entering this into this week's Allsorts Challenge the theme being Autumn Days, The sentiment on the inside insert reads:

The Kiss of the Sun for Pardon

The song of the birds for mirth

One is nearer God's Heart in a garden

Than anywhere else on earth

Three in One

Hi this is my second posting today and is for three challenges the first being Stamp Something which is the sketch, the second is Stampin for the Weekend the theme being Rock n Roll 70's I have chosen Three Times a Lady by The Commodores and finally Allsorts Challenge the theme being use one of anything. Ok the image is one of the Gibson Lady stamps I have stamped with Versfine Sepia and coloured with Prisma Pencils and Sansodor, I have used one backing paper, I matting card, 1 Gem, 1 Flower, 1 sentiment and 1 lace type ribbon. I hope you like it hugs to all.
