One Post Four Cards Six Challenges

This is my entry for this weeks Carols Sketch Fun and is a little different in that I have used vellum. I have used a mixture of backing papers including embossed pearlescent papers the main image is all vellum the flowers are mounted on a vellum frame which I have paper pierced then added the vellum flowers I also printed the butterflies onto vellum then coloured them with Prisma pencils and used sansodor to blend I added some pearls for the bodies and a gem brad for the centre I have added some gold pearly doodles for extra effect I hope you like it now onto the next

This card I have created for The Sugar Bowl challenge based on the sketch and Stamp with Fun the requirement being to use Pearls. The bp are freebies I have added some lace, flowers and pearly doodles I have also used my MS punch on the side border the image I have coloured with promarkers, now the third card below

This one is for the Spoonful of Sugar Challenge the sketch and for Simon Says Challenge the theme being 'Distressing' I have used the same image as above but coloured differently in promarkers I have done a lot of distressing on this card and thoroughly enjoyed it I have distressed the backing papers the side panel the circle and flowers with different but complimentary colours of Brilliance ink. Now onto the final one for today

This is my entry for this week's Friday Sketchers and have used a Mo Manning Digi Image called 'Sinatra' I have coloured it with promarkers using the blending technique that I followed in a tutorial on Passion for Promarkers. The bp is from a RAK the pearlised embossed lilac paper is from my stash I have added some gems and another one of my vellum butterflies.

Creative Card Crew and Charizma Cards

Hi all this is my entry for two challenges the first is Creative Card Crew the theme being 'Girls just wanna have fun' and for this I have used one of the Danni and Friends Digi Stamps the second is Charisma Cardz and is my first time entering this one, the the theme is the sketch. I have used promarkers for the girls added some pink grosgrain ribbon and a flower also added some pearly doodles on the apex of each square. I hope you like it hugs to all.

Blog Awards- I am so Thrilled

I have received these awards from some very lovely blogging buddies and must thank them so much I am thrilled to bits with them.

The first was passed onto me by Lyn of Spyder-Spyderscorner I just love her sense of humour and when I visit her I always end up with a smile on my face and she is one fab crafter.

My First Squigglefly Challenge Card

Hi all this is my first ever card for the Squigglefly Challenge, I have been so inspired by my fellow blogging buddies who use these images that I finally took the plunge and bought a couple, then today I received a birthday present from my lovely friend Maria who sent me two Squigglefly digi images of my choice these will be used in the next challenge and for other cards as well. The first time I saw this image was on Stef's aka Glitterbabe's blog and thought just how cute it was and it so reminded me of the days when I used to stuff paper or socks in the toes of my mum's shoes just so I could wear them and act like a grown up lady lol. I have used pro markers to colour the image which I cut out and mounted onto holographic silver card with silicone glue so that she stands a little proud of the card. I then added three pieces of raspberry mirror card and flowers I hope you like it hugs to all.

Ok, well the backing papers were free downloads from Cuddly Buddly yonks ago and never got round to using them although I love the autumn colours, the image is one of Mo's at Digital Pencil Too and this is my first attempt at using it, a group of friends celebrating the harvest season. I have cut some little acorns from the left over bp and used silicone to put them in the corners, the flowers have also been stamped on the bp and again layered and raised with silicone I have used gold pearly doodles in the middle of each flower. I added some copper coloured organza ribbon and then put some Anita's brown dotty ribbon on top of that added some branches and a sentiment from Serendipity which says:

I'm beginning to learn that

it is the sweet simple things

VC Challenge and C.R.A.F.T

Hi all hope you are all well. This is my entry for two challenges the first is VC Challenge which is based on the sketch and C.R.A.F.T the theme being use Pink and Green. I have used a VC image which I love and coloured her with Pro markers I have added a few of my small Elusive Images flower which I stamped in Versafine Sepia and cut them out. I didn't do so many this time because I think I have gone a bit OTT with a few of the earlier cards I made and swamped the cards somewhat so this time I have kept them more subtle than overpowering. I hope you like it hugs to all.
