A Christmas Project Anything But A Card.

Here is my project which I hope you will find a little inspirational.

I have made a scalloped Nestie Christmas Mobile my first ever.

I have used different coloured mirror card for back and front so when it is hung up it will move and capture the light I added a little bell at the bottom so it will also jangle a little.

From the top working down I have used Monty on the Moon coloured with promarkers 

The second image is PJ the Penguin again coloured with promarkers I also punched out some snowflakes and added some stickles so they twinkle.

Finally I have used one of the Christmas Bears all these images are available from

Sew Many Cards.

To Make An Easel Card

I know that this is a big favourite with sew many of you sew how about joining us and show off your wonderful projects we just love seeing them.

.This is my DT card which I so enjoyed making I am also entering this into the Sketch and Stash challenge.

I have used a Sew Many Cards image called 'Tayla Boo Boo' isn't he cute lol

I have coloured him with a mixture of promarkers and Sakura pens I flipped the sketch to accommodate the image I have added card that I embossed with the paisley Cuttlebug folder added some ribbon, card candy and flower.

I do apologise that I did not get my DT post onto blogger in time but here it is.

Our new challenge at SEW MANY CHALLENGES is CHRISTMAS and here is PJ the Penguin this cutie pie is available to buy at SEW MANY CARDS.

I have followed the sketch at Tuesday Sketchers but flipped so I could use a bigger image of PJ.  I have coloured him with promarkers mounted him onto a Nestie which has the embossed snow pattern in the paper is Papermania I have added a sentiment and some punched out snowflakes.

Sew Many Challenges Blog Hop & Challenge

Hi all hope you are well and enjoying the Easter holidays before I get onto my post I would love to share some wonderful news with you all  I have been chosen as one of the new DT for Sew Many Challenges. 

I was so thrilled when I found out as I have always loved working with the Sew Many Animal characters and now along with the new releases this is going to be a wonderful experience not only for me but hopefully for you as well.

This week saw the launch of a new blog hop at Sew Many Challenges where you have a chance of winning one or more of the brand new super super cute images from Angela.  If you haven't been over to have a nosey then please do so it is well worth the visit. The Sew Many Challenge this week is 'Folds' this could be gatefold, tent fold or any other fold that you fancy having a go at,  below I am showing not one but two cards I have made using a different technique the first one is new to me and I just love the finished card which is called a tri-fold.

I used basic white card stock added some backing paper which I think is Basic Grey the pink lace is the MS border punch and is my favourite so far. I added some gems and adhesive ribbon on the centre inside panel the scallops are from my SU stamping set and punch and this is the first time I have used it.  I just could not resist using my all time favourite image Jovi who I have coloured with pro markers and mounted on nestie scallops.

This second card is the 'crossover' card which I have always loved and this one I am entering into a few other challenges as well. I have used Purple and Turquoise for this one and again coloured Jovi with pro markers but this time with purples I added some Cosmic Silver Glitter, ribbon and flowers.

Easter Triangle Box

Morning folks this is my entry for this weeks Sew Many Challenges the requirement being to make something with an Easter Theme.  I decided to make a Triangle box by following a tutorial at SCS.  I have used both Jovi and Duncan for this project so you get the best of both worlds an Easter Bunny and Easter Chick. I chose the colours pink, yellow and green which represents the typical colours of Tulips and Daffodils.  I used some pink gingham paper punched both top and bottom I used the same paper to stamp some flowers using my Elusive Image stamp cut them out and mounted them with silicone. The pink base and yellow card is from my stash so is the ribbon.  I coloured both Jovi and Duncan with pro markers cut them out and adhered with silicone.  Unfortunately I do not have any little Easter eggs yet so I used a Daffodil that I have had for many years to show the box effectively but I can assure you that both of my boxes will be filled with some lovely mini eggs lol.
