Sew Many Challenges #5

Hi all hope you are ok and having some lovely sunshine like we are here in Gloucester although it is very cold I think the sun always makes you feel a little happier even though it shows up all the dust and lets you know the windows need cleaning lol......I will just have to do that a bit later lol. hey by the way did anyone notice I changed my blog to a three column one....easy peasy.

This week is challenge #5 at Sew Many Challenges and they have a sketch for you to follow and here is my card.  I have used Spring Toga but just to be a little different I have coloured him blue.

I have coloured with Copics and mounted him onto a Nellie Snellen circle die cut.  The base bp is Bearlymine, the two squares are pearlescent paper passed through the Cuttlebug using the Daisy folder I have added some Cosmic Shimmer Silver Twinkles in the corners and to the centre of the daisies.

I used some grosgrain ribbon and FSS flowers I think the sentiment is from a sheet of rubber sentiments that I bought a few years ago but can't remember where.....that's one of the problems with getting old my memory is awful, anyway I hope you like and I would like to thank each and everyone of you who leave me such wonderful comments and I would also like to welcome my new followers, you all make my day so special.

Today is the birthday of Angela at Sew Many Cards so I made this especially for her.

Prairie Fairy Friday Dt Card

It's Friday and another new challenge starts at Prairie Fairy Friday's and this weeks theme is 'Buttons and Brads'.  Here is my DT card using one of the gorgeous flower images available to buy from the Prairie Fairy.  I wanted a blue theme for my card and have coloured the image with H20's for a change.  I cut the image out and mounted it onto the oval Nestie the backing papers is from my stash I have added a ribbon some buttons and brads. I hope you like it and will come join us this week we would love to see your creations. Hugs to all.

Digital Tuesday # 46 DT Card

Morning all, today see's the start of a new challenge at Digital Tuesday and this week we would love you to create something Girly.  

Here is my DT card and I decided to make an Octagonal Easel card just for a change, the image I coloured with Copics the papers are a bit of a mix I used some shapes cut from Nesties and punches and added quite a few of my prized silk flowers (not handmade), I hope you like it and for even more inspiration why not go see the rest of the DT's wonderful work. Happy Tilda

Morning all please check out my DT card for Cute Daisy May below and let me know what you think.  This card I made yesterday for two challenges the first is Stamp Something the theme being 'Cute' the second challenge is Crazy 4 Challenges who want to see 'Red' on your card.

I have used happy Tilda for this one I stamped her in Versafine Onyx Black coloured her with Copics cut her out and sat her on Magnolia mushrooms also coloured with Copics.  The backing papers are a bit of a mix I added some lace effect ribbon, roses, gems and some butterflies, the roses and butterflies I highlighted with Pixie Dust.  I hope you like it hugs to all see you later.

Hi everyone today is a new challenge at Cute Daisy May and the theme this week is Bright and Cheerful chosen by our own lovely Avril. The DT have come up with some stunning creations so please join us and have a peek at the wonderful inspiration on show.

Here is my DT card and this image of Daisy May can be found on sheet 166 I have coloured her with Copics and mounted her onto my Nestie Labels no4, the orange label I used with my Cuttle Bug Swiss Dots folder.  I have also used my new MS Daisy deep edge punch and the waste bits I made into the flower above Daisy May's head, as soon as I saw the left overs they looked like petals. The papers are Basic Grey, I have also used some buttons with raffia as the bows I hope you like it and please do come join us.
