I have used the sketch from Pixie Cottage to make this easel card for my sister she has always loved green. I have used a Sew Many Cards image called Grace with Cammi  used my oval nestie to cut here out then used the scallop oval to mount her on.

I used Basic Grey Lime Rickey papers I have used promarkers to colour the image added some green flowers, green gems and punched out some butterflies.

SMC Challenge #12

Wow what a busy start to the day and we welcome you to Sew Many Challenges #12 this week we want to have some fun so our theme is Anything Goes, yep you get free rein this week to create whatever you like.

Our Sponsor for this week is KLM Digi Stamps and the winner will receive a choice of three of their images. 

And here is my project.

Well I wanted to have some fun so I decided to try a new tutorial and created these two gift bags you can find the tutorial HERE I made these two from one sheet of 12" x 12" card stock and they are a good size.

Once I had made the bag I covered both front and back with a dp which were from a mixed bag, I printed out two Olliver Owls and coloured with promarkers then cut them out and adhered to the front of the bag with silicone glue.  I added flowers of different colours on each bag.

These will be used for my sister's birthday in June and will contain some nice goodies.

Crafty Ann's Challenge DT Card #13

We have a new challenge for you at Crafty Ann's and this time it is a recipe which consists of the following three items

1 Ribbon

1 Digi

3 Flowers

3 Colours or less

and here is my DT card which will hopefully give you a little inspiration.

I have used three colours which are red, brown and yellow the base paper is Papermania the next two colours are Crafty Ann's own wonderful design and available from her own Digi Shop if you haven't visited yet you don't know what you are missing.  I digitally placed the papers on top of each other then inserted the image again this is available for Crafty Ann's Digi Shop and is proving very popular.  I coloured the guitar and roses with Sakura Gelly Roll pens to give shine and a slight texture.  The ribbon is gold lame I added three red rose buds and an ivy leaf the sentiment is one that was sent me yonks ago by Stef aka Glitterbabe and much treasured.

Prairie Fairy Friday DT Card

Its Prairie Fairy Friday time once again and our challenge this week is Distressing and it is as this is my penultimate card as a DT member for Prairie Fairy Fridays.

Ok this week I have used my new Tim Holtz Distressing tool on the base paper and the second paper I tore in half then dabbed Momento Cocoa ink on the white that was showing, both papers are Basic Grey.  I have used Big Lion and coloured him with promarkers the scalloped circle I also distressed with Tim Holtz ink Walnut Stain I added a piece of raffia wide ribbon some buttons and leaves as I wanted to create the effect of him lurking in the tall grass waiting for his prey.

Going Japenese

Hi all hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather we are having at the moment.

Yesterday I made this card to enter the challenge at Mami Doodles which is also where I got these gorgeous little images from.

I love Oriental but don't see a lot of it so I was more than happy to create something with these beauties.

I have used backing paper that I have had for a few years but have never used in fact I only opened the box the other week how bad is that.

It comes from the Oriental kit by Sue Smith who is a regular on Create and Craft and I always loved her work and products.

Anyway back to the card the card stock also part of the kit, I coloured the images with promarkers cut out some gold circles added some ribbon and butterflies. I hope you like it hugs

Chi Chi Memories New Challenge

Hi all today is the start of a new challenge at Chi Chi Memories and we have a sketch for you to work with. If you haven't visited Chi chi Memories you must as the images are beautiful and such a joy to work with.

This is my début card for the challenge using the Mother Day set which be used for just Mother on any day

I have gone a bit colourful with this one I just felt I wanted a bit of brightness so here it is lovely red and yellow the papers are Basic Grey I have used the flower corners that also come in the set cut them out and put them together to look like a butterfly, I have used my MS Deep Edge lace punch, ribbon and some gems.

Birthday Girl

Hi all this is a card I have made to enter into the Creative Card Crew Challenge ' Happy Birthday'.  I have used the 'Birthday Girl Set' from Chi Chi Memories to make a crossover card.  

The set comes with several images that are just perfect to make the always needed birthday card.  I have used the girl and balloons with my graphics programme I have put the balloons to look as if she is carrying them then added the text.  On the front of the card I added the text from the same set 'Sweet' and double layered with foam pads.  The papers are SU (I think) coloured with Promarkers added a ribbon, flower a button for it's centre and some butterflies I hope you like it hugs to all.

Digital Tuesday Challenge DT card #55

Good morning all it's Tuesday and time for a new challenge at Digital Tuesday and this week the theme is April Flowers or Showers.  

This week we are sponsored by Di's Digi Downloads who has some fantastic images and this is one of them called 'Little Bear Hugs' I just fell in love with these little bears.

To create my card I used a 6x6 white card stock, My Minds Eye paper the circle frame is from Crafty Ann's Digi Shop and comes with a selection of adornments I chose to use the circle with flowers on.  The green is also a bp from Crafty Ann's and I thought it would create a lovely showcase for these two little beauties. I have also added some flat flowers from Wild Orchids.

Sharing Some News

Hi all I wanted to share some news with you which is, I have been invited to be a DT member for Natalie at Chi Chi memories and I accepted.

Before I tell you any more can I show my first card as a DT for Chi Chi Memories.

This beautiful image is part of a set that was released in celebration of Mothers Day but can be used for any occasion for mum.

I have made an easel card in purple the top bp was in a mixed bag from Crafts and Me I added some wide purple ribbon I mounted the MS punched border onto it.  The image I coloured with Copics then cut out with my Oval Nesties the scalloped Nestie I embossed with Swiss Dots.  I have also added some Blueberry Cosmic Shimmer Twinkles to the oval and to the daisy border.  The bottom of the easel card I attached some wide natural lace and the heart which is also part of the Mothers Day set.  

Chi Chi Memories have some beautiful images that are such a delight to work with if you would like to view the range just click HERE or on the logo in my side bar.

Chi Chi Memories will also be launching a new challenge on 22nd April so this is a must for avid crafters who love a challenge.

One Post-Four Cards

I thought I would show four cards in one post they are for several challenges so let's start with the first one.

This card is for two challenges the first is Paper Sundaes - No People

The second is Crazy 4 Challenges - Sketch

I have used the freebie image from Wink, Wink, Wink coloured with Copics the papers are SU I added some buttons and a sentiment.

My second card is for three challenges which are:

Anyone For Anya - Sweet as Sugar

Totally Gorgeous - Add Charms

I have coloured the image with Copics cut her out and mounted her onto an oval embossed with Daises the papers are Basic Grey I added a sentiment, flowers, charm and a few little butterflies, which along with the flowers have been dusted with Star Dust Stickles.

This third card I made for this week's Penny Black Challenge -Monochromatic Brown

I have seen such beauties being shown on blogs that I decided to have ago, see how you inspire me.

I have used V&A Linen Antique papers added some flowers and little butterflies, the images I stamped with Cocoa Brown Momento ink and just did some highlighting with Copics.

The final card I have kept simple because of the gorgeous image which is from the Colouring Book

they have quite a few freebie's which are beautiful.

One Stitch at a Time Challenge - Thank You card

I have coloured the image with Pro markers the papers are My Minds Eye (I think) added some gems, flowers the sentiment is from SU.
