WALKING ON SUNSHINE

 Hi all, hope that you are all well and enjoying the weekend it is pouring with rain here so no gardening today

I have a card that I would like to share with you and enter into some challenges.

I have been rummaging through my stamps again and found my sets of Morehead stamps, I have always loved these chubby little cuties, so I decided to use the Iris one.  I have always loved Iris's I remember as a little girl my mum had quite a few growing in the garden they were the ones I think they called bearded Iris the old fashioned ones, I do love old fashioned the older I get the more I reminisce about my time as a youngster, with my mum being of an age that she can't remember a lot of the old times I can and to me she has never changed she is still as beautiful as she has always been.

Anyway onto my card I stamped and coloured this image then fussy cut her out, with this stamp there are several little stamps so I used the Iris on it's own and cut them out, the papers are Bearly Mine, although they are no longer available I served on the DT for quite awhile and purchased all the CD's that were on sale so I will always have them at hand. 

I layered them onto black card stock, the central circle is die cut scalloped I mounted the image and flowers with 3d foam finally I added a sentiment and some liquid pearls.

I have coloured the image with Copics, the papers are from my stash, I added a string of pearls, flowers, stamped sentiment, bow, lace, liquid pearls and a die cut.

APRIL IN PARIS

Hi all, today I have a card to share with you and enter some challenges:

I have used a Julie Nutting Doll stamp she is nearly 8" so I used an 8" x 8" card base, I stamped her and cut her out I used a mix of markers to colour, the papers are from Dovecraft and called Sweet Paris they have been in my stash for a very long time.

I stamped the Love & Live onto some of the scrap papers and mounted them onto the same card stock, beneath the top layers the brown paper is actually a street plan of Paris.  I used foam pads to adhere the image and sentiments, finally I added some liquid pearls.

CHRISTMAS CARD

 Hi all, today I am posting my first Christmas card of the year, I have been looking through loads of my stamps and other items that I have had for so long that I forgot I had them, does that sound familiar? Lol

I thought that I would join in the challenge at

FAB 'N' FUNKY - CHRISTMAS

Many thanks for your continued support and encouragement sometimes you think that you are not good enough or that your work is lacking in some ways but I have been more than happy with my makes recently.

I have been invited to sell my cards at a fair at the end of June, all money raised will go into the resident fund,  I normally hand them over to my friend Ali who sells them to the residents and puts the money they make into a fund for either the garden or Christmas or something that resident would like, my cards seem popular.

I feel that I am doing something worthwhile by doing this.

My mum is doing a lot better she now has a hearing device that looks like a stethoscope, so she can now participate in the conversations that we have.

The support services have been excellent and all the carers that come in to help mum love her to bits.

Well that is a lot of talk from me so I will zip it and wish you all a lovely Bank Holiday weekend

DRAGONFLY DREAMS - DT CARD

 Hi all, today is the start of our May challenge at

I have used one of their images called Keira I have coloured her with a mixture of markers Copics and Nuvo pens.

The papers are from Bearly Mine, I have used glitter card for layering and the die cut flowers and butterfly, I also added some sparkles to the flowers but it is hard to see that in the picture, I have also added a stamped sentiment and pearls.
