For my DT card I have used an image from sponsor No; 1.

she is called

BIG EYE CUTE GIRL

I used Graph It Markers to colour her, the papers are LOTV, I cut a large circle of white card stock and flower papers then cut it in half, I added a doily, resin rose and sentiment. 

I have scheduled this post but will link it to some challenges a little later

A PINK BIRTHDAY

Hi all, today is really miserable here in Glos, dark and pouring with rain, James has gone off to Cheltenham Races hope his luck holds out, he has been doing ok with the horses so far, I personally don't bet or watch horse racing especially the Grand National, but I know that there are many who love it, so wishing you luck if you are placing bets today.

I have a 'just because' card to share with you today I have used a Conie Fong Image called Butterfly Princess i have coloured her with both Graph It Markers and Copics, the papers are LOTV, I have added a sentiment and some embellishments.

I have coloured with both Graph It Markers and Copics I have added glitter to her hair, I used some papers, gold peel off sticker, doily and some pearls

FOR A SPECIAL WOMAN

that is the challenge theme chosen by Glenda for the next 2 weeks at

CRAFTY CARDMAKERS AND MORE

we would love to see any card or project for the special lady in your life.

For a little inspiration I have made a gift for my mum, I wanted to make a Tussie Mussie but while trawling through Pinterest I found a Gift Cone template by Lori Stanton.  I printed it off and created this

I have taken several pictures at different angles.  

I used Sherri Baldy image 741 Patchwork Patti, I coloured her with Graph It Markers and Copics then cut her out and adhered her to a stick.  I used Dovecraft's Sweet Paris paper collection to decorate then added 2 different types of lace, pink organza ribbon, string of pearls, sentiment plus one stamped sentiment in a frame which was also adhered to a stick, I filled the cone with pink tissue paper then topped it with flowers, the outer cone I added different sorts of flowers. Finally because the cone has a point I added some twine at the rear so it could be hung on the wall but I thought it would be nice to stand it in a mini crystal vase, I have had a set of 2 for many years just doing nothing, using them this way they are finally filled with lots of love.

I thought that mum would be able to stand this on her mantelpiece so she could see it everyday for, hopefully, years to come.
