Chi Chi DT Card

This is a card I made last week using the new Chi Chi, Get Well/Sympathy digi stamps, I made it especially for a friend who has just lost her mum, it has been posted so I hope she doesn't mind me showing it here.

This is an 8x8 card using bp from K&Co, I coloured the image with promarkers the wording comes with the set and I used my graphics programme to insert it in the centre of the barrow

I added some black ribbon and flowers I didn't want to over embellish it but made up with insert a lovely verse.

Today I made two cards the first one I am entering into 

Stamping Vacation - Photo Inspiration

My first card is for Stamping Vacation photo inspiration of ladies, I have used Freebie images from Sylvia coloured with Copics.  If you haven't yet visited Stamping Vacation please go and have a look become a follower and just mention I sent you.  They have a challenge for each day.

This second card was going to be entered for two challenges but I made a boo boo the sketch is from last week the colours were for this weeks Pixie Cottage but I followed the wrong sketch so I got my knickers in a bit of a twist lol.  I thought you might like to see it anyway as I have used one of the new Meljen images available from Whimsy Stamps and I love it.

This card I made at the request of my son whose friend's parents are celebrating the wedding anniversary on Saturday.

I have used an 8x8 white card base then added a silver star effect card which I have had in my stash for some time. The image is from Di's Downloads which I have coloured with Copics then mounted onto red card I added a bow and computer generated sentiment, card candy and diamond stickles to the roses.

Chi Chi Memories #11 Sketch Challenge

There is a new sketch challenge that starts today at Chi Chi Memories, this is the sketch

On Monday Chi Chi launched a new Digi Stamp Set which is suitable for so many occasions but is aimed at Get Well and Sympathy.  The images are such a delight I think these are my new favourite, they are available as a set or individual so if you want to have a peek then visit Chi Chi HERE

I have used one of these new images for my DT challenge card and I chose Little Ted

I used three scalloped Nesties in two sizes I embossed them with the Cuttlebug Daisy folder.

The image I coloured with promarkers I added some peach liquid pearls around the image and added some green mesh and card candy the butterflies I punched from the same base paper.

Digital Tuesday Challenge #70 DT Card

It's time for a new challenge at Digital Tuesday and Michele P has chosen a great theme this week which is to use two digital images on your project, however, the twist is that they must be from different companies.

Our Sponsor this week is Dustin Pike and the winner will get a choice of 3 of his wonderful images.

Here is my DT card which I hope will give you a few ideas, 

There is such a wide range of choices but I opted for the Aga available from Crafty Ann's Digi Shop and the Bear from Sew Many Cards I think they look just right for each other.

I have coloured both images with Copics the papers are SU I added some card candy and a sentiment.

Go Faster Nan

Hi all this morning I would like to show you a card that I have made using a new digi image from HERE they have a section called 'wrinklies' and they are such fun, just like this one below.  I just had to use it for this weeks challenge at Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge HOT WHEELS.

My mum will be 91 this November and my son when he was younger always said that when he was older and had enough money he would buy her one of these carts, lol, well this is probably the closest she will get to one so I have made this card for my son to give his Nan on her special day.

I have coloured this fab image with promarkers, the papers are SU I also added some ribbon and stamped the sentiment with Momento ink.

My mum is also an animal lover she has always had Poodles but this little pup in the basket is just as nice.

Hi again if you have visited me early today I did say that today was going to be exciting and I hope you agree because today sees the launch of some new Digital Stamps from Whimsy.  There are both Meljen and Chrissy Armstrong images that will be available to purchase from Whimsy Stamps at about 10.00am.

Here is my DT project using one of the new Meljen images called Apple Beary Fairy I hope you like it.

For this blog hop I decided I wanted to do something that little bit special so I have made three items a card, a matchbook card with a tag inside and a 6x4 accordion file bag.

This picture below shows the card and matching matchbox card (my first one)

The papers I have used are Basic Grey I coloured the images with promarkers and added some ribbon, flowers and gems.

I have taken several photos so you wont miss anything lol.

I also wanted to show you the inside which you will see is perfect for storing ATC's and/or stamped/printed images.

As an extra bonus I will draw a name randomly from the comments left and the winner will receive this set as a gift from me.
