Chi Chi Memories Costume Set

Hi all here is a card I have made with one of the images from the new 'Costume Set' from Chi Chi Memories. I used the Ladybug image coloured with Copics, the base card is a red glittered one which is the only one I have left, ahhhh shame, I used to have them in black and red, I added some Basic Grey paper, black grosgrain ribbon, butterflies and a couple of handmade flowers.

One Stop Crafts Challenge #95 - DT Card

Hi all we have a new challenge for you today at ONE STOP CRAFTS CHALLENGE and our Maggie has chosen the theme

Here is my DT card

I have used my oval Nestie to frame the sentiment on my card and is a saying from Laura Ingalls Wilder, I have only used this once before but I do love it and it inspired me with my card.

The gingham bp is from Bearlymine the ribbon from Crafty Ribbons, I have added a few spots of bronze Stickles to the ribbon and pulled it together in the middle, then mounted the frame.

The flowers I made myself and used a small and large six petal punch.  I distressed the larger petals the used an earthy tone chalk to give them an even more distressed look, I added chalk and bronze Stickles to the butterflies as well.

SMC and CACB

Hi all what rotten weather we are having, while I am writing this it is raining, windy and cold, brrrrr feels like Winter, I am going to have to start wearing my fluffy socks lol.

Ok today is the start of two new challenges at both Sew Many Challenges and Crafty Ann's. Before I get onto my cards can I say a big thank you to all who entered our last challenges the quality of work is amazing and so beautiful to see. 

My first DT card is for Sew Many Challenges and this week the theme is

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I have used an image of Toga giving Jaden a birthday gift, this image and many more are available at

  Sew Many Cards.

I have coloured the image with promarkers the sentiment is SU, I used Basic Grey papers, added some gingham ribbon and bows also a couple of punched butterflies.

Whimsy/Meljen New Releases

It's time for the Thursday Meljen new Digi release day and wow they are fabulous they are available now at Whimsy Stamps.

This is my DT card showing just one of the new releases that will blow your socks off, they are so much fun.

I have used the Cowgirl image in PNG format and added the top sentiment which is also included in the release. I have coloured this fun cowgirl with promarkers, then mounted onto brown card the base paper is Bearlymine also mounted onto brown card, I added some gingham ribbon and bows which always remind me of the Wild West.

This image brought back so many memories of when I was a little girl I never had the horses head but I used my mum's broom, I was always playing horsey games, especially after watching programmes like Champion the Wonder Horse, Lone Ranger and Folly-foot, I loved it.

Chi Chi Sketch Challenge #13

It is challenge time again at Chi Chi Memories and the new sketch is below.

Here is my DT card using a clown image from the Carnival Collection which is available from the new look shop at Chi Chi Memories, as a set or individually.

I printed the image twice then cut one out and 3d'd him, I coloured with Copics, the papers are Kaiser I added a few embellishments.

Exciting News

Hi all just wanted to share some exciting news with you all and that is I have been accepted as a new DTM for the Creative Inspirations Challenge Blog.

I am so proud and honoured to have been chosen and hope I can share my future DT creations with you.

I am in the midst of visiting you all, unfortunately I have been afflicted with a nasty stomach bug these last couple of days which is why I have been absent.  However, I am feeling better now and can actually stay in my seat for a couple of hours without having to dive for the loo.... lol...so please bear with me.

Digital Tuesday #73 DT Card

Hi all we have a new challenge for you over at Digital Tuesday and this weeks theme is 'COOL IT' Amy has chosen this theme and would like to see something with 'water' on your card/project.  If you would like to see some wonderful inspiration then please do have a look at the DT projects they are fabulous, here is my little contribution.

I decided to use a Digi Image and sentiment from Whimsy Stamps which I coloured with Copics, for the blue background I used a mixture of chalks.  The bp is Bearlymine I added a ribbon and card candy.  I didn't want to over embellish this one has it will a card for a male person.

Our sponsor this week is Deedees Digi's the winner will receive a $10 gift voucher 

As usual the one main rule to be eligible for our challenge is to use at least one digital image/download on your card project.

I have two items to show you today the first is a card based on a sketch from Crazy 4 Challenges

I have used an image from Digital Delights call Briley, I have coloured her with Copics the papers are a mix of Kaiser and Papermania i added buttons, card candy, ribbon and sentiment.

This next project is not for a challenge but just showing my first attempt at making a little back pack, I used SU card, choosing the colour combo of Pink and Brown.  I added two handmade flowers, little butterfly and liquid pearls.  The tutorial can be found HERE
