Chi Chi Carnival Time

This card I have made using the new images from Chi Chi Memories called Carnival Time the set is real fun and has clowns, ferris wheel and words for more information visit Chi Chi Memories.
I apologise as this card should have appeared earlier today but obviously blogger was not playing ball again so I have had to do this manually.
I have used an A5 SU base card the one end I have scored some lines using the Hougie Board, the paper is Basic Grey 12x12 from Crafty Emma, the ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons.  I have coloured the clown with promarkers and mounted onto orange card I also added some card candy.

Fun at Fairy Knoll #8

Hi all firstly I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has sent me cards and best wishes for my birthday, which is today.  I am thrilled beyond words, I never thought a day could be as special as this one so THANK YOU dear friends. I am also hoping to rejoin the land of blog very soon as I have improved a little and besides I do miss you so much.  I think it will take a little more time to regain my lost confidence but I know I can do it with the support I receive from all you my lovely friends.

Today is time for a new sketch at Fun at Fairy Knoll
and this is my DT card
I have used a gold matte metallic base card which I have had in my stash forever and thought it was about time I started to use some, it also fitted into the colour scheme I had in mind.
The papers are from my stash a nice floral design mounted onto heavy weight brown card the butterflies are punched out using the same paper.  The central image is of course one of the ones available from Fairy Knoll this one I have coloured with Copics I also added some star dust stickles to the flowers and wings.  I used my nestie for the paper and card I also added some liquid gold pearls around the circle and for the central stem of the butterfly I also added some card candy.

I hope you like my card and it would be real fun if you could come join us at Fairy Knoll this week and if you are a member of PCP you can also join in the challenge there as well.

Christmas in July

Hello everyone I want to thank you all so much for your wonderful best wishes and support for me while I am struggling with a nasty bout of depression.
I am feeling a little better but seem to have lost some of my confidence so please excuse the quality of my cards I am hoping that once I feel better and get my confidence back I will improve with my card making.

I have been trying to make some cards as a little therapy and this is my second Christmas card that I have made this year and I have used a new Digi image by Chrissie Armstrong available from Whimsy Stamps.  I was thinking of entering this into a couple of challenges but find that I am to late but I thought I would show it anyway.
I have coloured the image with Copics, the papers are Bearlymine, I added some pink lace, card candy, gems, charm and flowers.
Hugs to all and I hope to do some visiting tonight.

Tall Card

I managed to make a card today for the challenge at Meljen using a long card which I have stacks of but rarely use.
I used some spotty base papers that I printed off my computer ages ago, I think it is Bearlymine, the red paper on the squares are from my pile but is double sided so may be SU but not sure, I have used some ribbon that matches the strawberry in the image which is from Meljen available at Whimsy Stamps I have coloured him with Copics and added Star Dust stickles to the wings and swirls I also added some card candy.
Hugs to all

Digital Tuesday #68 DT Card

Morning everyone, before I let you know about my card I want to thank you all for your concern and caring since I have not been around, your good wishes are held close to my heart.  I am having a battle at the moment but I know I will win eventually even though it will be a short lived victory.

Today is the start of a new challenge at Digital Tuesday and this week it was my turn to choose the theme so I chose
Happy Birthday
we all need a nice stash of birthday cards for family, friends and the unexpected request also it is my birthday week, I know there are others, plus friends/fellow DTM, celebrating this occasion as well so for everyone whose birthday week it is I am sending you all big hugs and best wishes.

Our sponsor this week is the lovely and very talented Teri of Delicious Doodles, the winner will receive four digi images.

For my card I have used one of Teri's images called Retro Zebra and he is just the cutest ever.
I have used a mixture of papers, I really wanted the image to stand out but also wanted to keep it to a black and white theme with just a hint of yellow.
I printed then cut the Zebra out and mounted him with silicone glue, I added the butterflies and the yellow scallop which I felt was a symbol of the sunshine, the sentiment is Serendipity stamped with Momento ink.

I hope you will join us this week and please visit the other DT their work is beautiful.

Hugs to all.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
I spent quite a long time making this box which is quite big and is 6"" square and 3" deep, I will be using this one myself for storing some bits and pieces in.
I have used heavy white card stock the papers are SU I used an image that I received in a RAK coloured with Copics, I added card candy in similar colours, flowers, Tim Holtz fastener and blue tassel.

Well that's it for the time being but I am really hoping to see you all later, thank you so much for looking

Chi Chi Memories DT Project

Hi all this is a door hanger I have made for Chi Chi Memories using the new Splash of Fun Digi Set shown below and available at Chi Chi Memories.
I used some heavy yellow card that I have had for some time but keep for special use and because I wanted to make a door hanger I wanted something substantial.  I used one of the images from the set coloured with Copics, the background I used chalks for shading.  I also added stickles to the bubbles and swirl.
I also added some card candy then used chalks to shade the yellow which turned out a nice motley effect, the top circle I cut out with a scalloped Nestie. It really looks so effective in real life unfortunately this time the camera does not do this justice.

For more views of this lovely stamp set please visit Chi Chi Memories there are several sets now available to buy.
Hugs to all.
