Vintage Birthday

Hi all I made this card for my mum to give my sister on her birthday, my sister is in her early 70's so I decided to have another go at the vintage style.
I would like to enter this one into the following challenges:
I have used Bearlymine bp all have been mounted onto gold mirri card, I stamped my pattern butterfly with TH Walnut stain Distress ink the used a paint brush to colour, I have also used my Elusive Images Flower Rubber Stamps I used Versafine Onyx Black to stamp them cut them out and 3'd them onto each other.  I then added some lace, green ribbon, flowers from both Wild Orchid and Crafty Emma's stores, punched some butterflies, printed out a computer generated sentiment, also mounted onto gold mirri card, added some liquid pearls to the butterflies bodies and added star dust stickles to the stamped butterfly, I distressed the edges of the papers with my Tonic tool, the centre square I distressed with TH Old Paper Distress Ink.
I hope you like it see you soon, hugs to all.

Lady with Ringlets

Hi all sorry for the title I just couldn't think of anything else this morning, lol.  I have made this card for several challenges and I can honestly say that I love it, I spent quite awhile working on this one and I think at last I have got the look of the vintage era which I love so much.
The challenges I am entering this into are:
For my card I have used Bearlymine papers which I have distressed using my Tonic distressing tool. I stamped the image with TH Walnut Stain Distressing ink used a wet brush to do the hair and top of her dress, I used pencils and Sansodor for her flesh.  I have used Pearls, wide cream lace, ribbon, hat pin, buttons, flowers, gold stickles, brown lace and a stamped postcard which I tore in half.
The picture above shows the card side ways
This picture above is a closer look at the lady which is a stamp I bought some years ago and she is from the Wendy Rhodes collection, the flowers that surround her are new and I got them from Crafty Emma's Store.
I have been inspired by so many of the vintage style cards that I see when visiting all my old and new friends in blogland but I must admit that my main inspiration has come from Linda aka The Funkie Junkie she is awesome at Shabby Chic and Vintage, thank you Linda.
See you soon, hugs to all.

Tilda In The Garden & Teddy Bears Picnic

Hi all today I have a couple of cards that I would like to enter into some challenges.
The swelling on my wrists has gone down a bit but I just had to get on and do some crafting I had so many ideas in my head and it was driving me crazy not doing some stamping and colouring.
My first card I am entering into the following challenges:
OSAAT - Anything Goes (both cards)
For my card I have used Bearlymine papers all of which, including the image, have been mounted onto green mirri card.  I have used Tilda with her watering can and coloured her with Copics.  I added some orange ribbon and bow, butterflies, large flower, card candy and punched out two tags then stamped the sentiment and added a brad.
I took the photo in a different position today to see if the colours would show up better but I am not sure that I got the effect I wanted, the picture below shows Tilda close up.

My second card I have made for the following challenges:
Once again I have used Bearlymine papers then used my Tonic tool to distress the edges, the image is a rubber stamp that I won when I first started entering challenges several years ago, this is only the second time I have used it.  I coloured the image with Copics and added some Pearl, liquid pearls to the cakes and around the table.  I found a little teddy bear stamp that I had in my folder and is part of the Messy rabbit collection, I stamped the image twice then cut them out I coloured with Copics then 3'd them.  I punched out a couple of tags in the coordinating colours and stamped the sentiment I tied these together with ribbon, finally I added a butterfly in both silver mirri card and pink paper.
Thank you for visiting today I hope you have enjoyed the cards I have made
Hugs
