Last One For Today

Hi all just a quickie just wanted to post my entry for this weeks Stamptacular Sunday Challenge which is based on a sketch.  I have used one of my new limited edition Lumas Thorn Elves from Bearlymine I have been eyeing these stamps for so long they only have a few sets left and when they are gone....that's it, so if you fancy a set then get going.  It was love at first sight when I seen them and kept going back time and again in the end well now I have them forever.   I stamped the image in Versafine Sepia and coloured with promarkers mounted him onto two different coordinating colour card the green behind the image is MIC handcrafted paper and used tearing which fluffed it out also added a few flowers from my stash.  Not to grand at the moment my creative juices have definitely dried up and left me dry and no idea what to do next. I have started my daily rounds of my followers blogs but I will resume later to see the rest of your gorgeous work bye for now and hugs to you all.

Minimalistic

Hi all this is my very first entry to the Creative Card Crew Challenge which requires a minimal look so I hope this will fit the bill.  I have used a peach and orange colour combo which came about quite by accident.  I have used pearlescent peach paper stamped some swirls with perfect medium and added an orange/gold cosmic shimmer mica powder.  I added a few gold gems for effect, the image is rapidly becoming my favourite of the Digital Stamps and is from Sketching Stamper I have used my orange promarker for the petals also used it to highlight the oval then just added one small gold bow hope you like it.  Hugs to all

Just In Time

Blimey I think I will get this in by the skin of my teeth lol.  This is a two in one card the first is Just Magnolia Challenge which requires stitching and the second is Stamp Something the theme being Pink Birthdays.  I did this one last night with another one but I must have been a little colour blind because my other card was a colour that it shouldn't have been so I have to go and change it but this one turned out quite nice I think.   I have actually used my little sewing machine on this one and you just might see it on the piece where the sentiment is I think I need quite a bit of practice so I added some faux stitching as well.  I have used pink backing papers from Funky Fairy's and Glitter Girls the oval was cut from my nesties and passed through my big shot with the swiss dots cuttlebug folder and I added some flowers and a few gems hope you like it.  I am off to have a nice milky coffee to try and warm myself up then I will be back visiting your blogs Hugs to you all.

I am so Lucky

Wow I feel so proud and honoured to have received these awards today from two very lovely people. The 'Lemonade Award' was given to me by Linda the second from Shirely they are two wonderful crafters and their blogs are gorgeous so please pay a visit and check them out.

Ok now for the rules to follow the first award 'The Lemonade Award' is given to bloggers who show great attitude and gratitude now I know that we are supposed to nominate but to me this covers all the bloggers that I follow and it is so difficult for me to choose but choose I must so I would like to pass this award onto the following bloggers:

at this rate I will list you all which is what I would love to do lol.  When you receive the award please leave a comment and show off the award on your blog then nominate other bloggers you feel have attitude and gratitude.

Now the 'Inspirational Award' you can nominate as many as you like to receive it, put the award on your blog, leave a comment and last but not least and this is the twist is to tell of a fact about yourself that no-one else knows and put it on your blog........ummmmmm let me think..............apart from spending too much on craft stuff (but then can we crafters ever spend too much on lovely craft items lol)........ok well this isn't very interesting but I do have a big weakness for........Pontefract Cakes and once started I don't like to stop eating them lol.

Ok I would like to nominate the following bloggers for this award:

I think that's about it for now please enjoy your day and see you all later lots of Hugs

Sweet Peas for Two Challenges

Good morning everyone hope you are all fit and healthy it is quite dark and drizzling with rain here in Gloucester but I don't mind as it will hopefully give me chance to catch up on some challenges.  This card is my entry for two new challenges the first is Midnight Madness  and is based on a sketch and the second is Incy Wincy Designs.  If you haven't seen these before go check them out they are both fab.  For this card I have used MIC handmade papers which are lovely to work with very textured the image is a digi stamp from Sketching Stamper and has been coloured with promarkers. I have added a flora doodle and silk flower for the bud some felt butterflies that I have put some stickles on for a bit of glitter and some gems.  Hope you like it hugs to all Lorraine x

Hi All-A Two in One

Hello folks sorry but I haven't been around for a couple of days I did manage to visit a few blogs and leave comments but I changed broadband user and had to sort a few things out and a few personal issues as well.  I managed to make this card last night which fits two challenges the first one is Pollycraft  and this is the 'free' digital prints from their website and I think they are just fab, the theme for their challenge is 'Flowers' and must say making this did release a bit of pent up emotion.  I used the free image and backing papers and did some faux stitching on the background paper and flowers.  The blue paper is actually handmade from MIC and I tore the edges for a bit of effect.  The second challenge is a first for me which is Lili of the Valley and their theme is to use the colours Pink, Green and Blue and must say I do like this combo.  I think I will have missed or will miss quite a few of the challenges this week as things are not going to plan for me so I will just have to make do with completing the odd one or two unless I am lucky.

I would also like to say 'Thank You' to Ida and Shirley who have nominated me for some blog awards.  I feel so blessed to have people who think of me when handing out these awards and I know I have said it many times before but I will say it again it gives me the heart to carry on blogging and talking to you my friends I feel quite humble as well.  I say what I feel when leaving my comments on your work and is heartfelt because I know how much time, effort and love is put into each and every creation and when you are feeling not quite 100% or have suffered in some way I also feel for you as I did with Ida.  So thank you once again Ida and Shirley for thinking of me.

Hugs to you all, Lorraine x
