Hi all, I don't know why but I feel rather nervous writing this post, I suppose it is because I have been off for a little while.
Before I start my post I would like to thank each and everyone of my blogging friends for the wonderful e-mails, cards and comments on the post that my son wrote. I did not know that he had posted that I was not well, he has been so good reading all my e-mails for me.
It really has meant so much to me to know that you have missed me and the kindness that you have shown me is awesome, so I thank you with all my heart.
I am finding it very difficult to adjust to my life without my beloved Polo, I know that I was very upset when I lost him but it seemed to hit me all of a sudden that he was not coming back to me and I was just a broken mess. I am feeling a little like my normal self today and actually made a card that my mum requested.
I do have a few apologies to make to my DT's as I have not been joining in the challenges and I am so very sorry for that.
I have made a deep shadow box card in the colours of red and white, I have used mainly Kanban Christmas items that I ordered from Create and Craft.
I used two A4 card stock cut at 51/2" across the width, the plain red card is pearlescent, the foiled red and white card is Kanban
I measured each end of the widths at 1/2" and 1.1/2" I used my Spellbinder Scalloped Circle Die cut for the aperture at the front, I used the Kanban Die Cut Glittered Poinsettias for for the inside and some small ones on the outside all have been 3'd with silicone glue, I used extra tacky tape for securing the two cards together, I added some die cut snowflakes red gems, die cut flourish and sentiment.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
I have also entered this into the Christmas Card Challenge at

I think I surprised myself by making this shadow box card as I have not been in the most crafty of moods, I do hope that you like it, I will begin doing some commenting over the next few days so until then have a lovely day.
There is a new challenge over at both

I hope you will be able to join them

Stunning card my friend. Good to "see" that you are feeling a little better today. I know how hard it is to lose a friend you have had for so long, doesn't matter if it has two or four legs. Let it take time and it will heal. Sending you love and hugs.

Christmas can be a happy time ,but I think it's often a time for missing loved ones and beloved pets too. I miss my Grandmothers so much and working at the church. You do have a loving son in James, treasure that. I argue with my son a lot but we are still close.
Your shadow box card is beautiful. I know it can be difficult to be creative when you in a low place.
Just know many people out there are thinking of you.
