LITTLE BOY BLUE

Hi all, hope you are enjoying the weekend wherever you are.

Today I have another Baby card to share with you and enter some challenges.

My son and his girlfriends baby is due by way of ceaserian  on 10th February, I am getting a nice collection of baby congratulation cards ready, I have never really had the need to make them before so it is a nice change for me and it means I can use some more of my neglected rubber stamps, like this Hanglar one, I bought this baby set of stamps some time ago, I have both the little boy and girl plus some extra's 

I stamped the image 3 times the first on the die cut oval the second two I cut out to decoupage, the antenna, sentiment and baby rattles are just a few of the extra stamps in this set .  The baby rabbit rattle I stamped 3 times then cut them out, I have used my die for the stepper card base then my new Kaiser Kraft doily die as a background, I punched some butterflies for extra embellishment, the paper is Simply Dots from Bearly Mine (no longer available) then I added some Tonic Pearl drops.

There are a few changes happening in my life over the next couple of months that I will tell you about them when I have got myself together after it is all over, all I can say is that they are big steps for me, so once again I may become erratic with my visiting but I hope that you will stay with me, your support and encouragement has always lifted my heart and spirits, thank you all so much.

ADDICTED TO STAMPS CHALLENGE #140 PLUS DT CALL

Today is the start of our challenge at 

ADDICTED TO STAMPS

I am afraid I am rather late posting my DT card but my mum came over early this morning and I have spent the day looking after her, my apologies to my DT sisters.

 I actually have two cards in my post the first one being my DT card for the challenge theme

BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE

For my card I have used one of my Gorjuss Girl stamps I coloured her with markers then mounted onto black card, I also used some of my Gorjuss ribbon for the tags and bow, the flowers are from Hobby House, I also added punched tags and butterflies, pearls and frosted berry, I used my scallop punch for the border that is topped by the strip of ribbon, I doodles a couple of little white flowers on the black tags, finally I added a sentiment.

My second card is very CAS for me, not used to type of style but I always love to see what other crafters do.

I have used one of my Stamp Addicts Wooden stamp cubes for both the daisy and the frame, I have used TH distress ink for the colour and stamped sentiment, I finally added some lilac beads in a bottle.

Before we go to the new challenge we have a DT-call announcement:

With Mandy leaving us we are now looking for a new DT member. Do you like stamping and are you interested in joining our DT?

We like all kinds and styles of crafting, but you MUST use STAMPS. 
(Either images, sentiments, backgrounds, or if you use digis they must be self coloured)
We have sponsors but you are free in your choice of brands of stamps as long as you follow the theme.

You don't need any DT experience but we do have a few other requirements:

• We have a challenge every 2 weeks. As we have two teams you will be required to make 1   card/project per 4 weeks.
• You comment on every challenge (both team A and B challenges) on your assigned number.
• You pick a top three out of every challenge. (A and B challenges)
