BEAUTY IN BLOOM

Today I have a card to share with you that is a little different than what I have been posting recently. I bought this stamp from Hobbycraft several weeks ago and have been itching to stamp her up and colour her in and at last I have managed to do just that and this is what I came up with.

I have used a 7 x 7 black card base the papers are Curiosity Corner, I used my EK Success circle cutter for the central circles, I distressed the edges of the papers with my scissors then went over the edges with TH Vintage Photo Distress ink, the image I coloured with Graph It Markers, I used a Joy Crafts Butterfly Die I then added a doily form the same family as Curiosity Corner, some resin flowers, dove, gems and sentiment.

ONE FOR THE BOY

This is my second post of the day to see my The Stamping Chef Debut DT card please see my previous post.

While watching Create and Craft the other day I saw some new stamps being demonstrated from 'Acid Drops and What Not's' I found their web site and treated myself to a couple of the sets.

They were delivered this morning and this is just one of the images and sentiments, I love them. This one I just had to have as my son is always going on about getting a 'six pack' and works out at the gym on a daily basis, I know the image is a lot older looking than my 23 yr old but I think he will smile when he gets it on his birthday (Sept).

I have used Momento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp onto linen card stock, I cut the circle of the image and the black card with my EK Success Circle cutter, the card base is a 5 x 5 white scalloped shape.

this is the other part of the sentiment, lol.

For my card I have used a gorgeous image called

BIG TEESE

I love her sassy pose and have had a try at Steampunk, something I am not normally good at but I have gained so much inspiration from you all that this is what I came up with.

I have gone for a brown colour theme the image I have coloured with Graph It Markers, the papers are from Bearly Mine Designs, I have added black lace, black and white twine card candy, metal butterfly, hat pin and a stamped sentiment.

MY BESTIES CHALLENGE #12-FLOWERS

Hello and welcome to my blog, today I am sharing my MY BESTIES debut DT card with you and to let you know the theme of our new challenge is

The prize

Here is my card featuring the image 313 Girl, I have coloured her with Graph It Markers and used an 8 x 8 white scalloped card base, the blue card stock and spot paper is SU so are the papers used for the circles that I cut with my EK Success circle cutter. The sentiment is stamped in Tuxedo Black ink and comes from a set by Hobby Art, I added some lace, spotty ribbon and bow, flower pearls and a big flower.
