BANANA WITH CARAMEL

Today I have a card to show that I made over the last few days, I would like to enter it into the following challenges:

I am showing two of the same main photo but taken at different angles.

I have used spotty paper from Bearly Mine, I used yellow linen card and gold metallic card then punched a border and layered them, I used TH die cut SU flowers die cut and Sizzix tag.  I used brown and lemon organza ribbon, 2 different sizes, then tied a double bow, I added a dazzler gem to top it off, I used brown wool for the tag tie and stamped a sentiment, the tag is just tucked behind the flower.  I have added a large flower pearl to the centre of the flower then 2 little pearl circles then used white pearls in the corners of the image.

The image is another one from the vintage collection at Pink Gem Designs I coloured her with Copics.

ALL CRAFTS CHALLENGE #2 AUGUST/SEPTEMBER

Hi all, today is the start of the second challenge at

ALL CRAFTS CHALLENGE

the theme is 

ANYTHING GOES except cards

we have some wonderful sponsors again

We would love to see your awesome craft projects, this can be, scrap pages, albums, altered art, knitting, jewelry etc, the list is endless.  I have seen so many wonderful projects that could have been entered into our challenge so please don't forget that if you have created a project, other than a card, we would love you to enter it into our challenge not only for a chance to win a prize but for other crafters to see the awesome work that can be done in the world of craft.

Here is my DT project that I worked on for a few weeks

it is a gift box, the gift inside is crocheted scrunchies.

I made the 6x4 box with Kraft card the papers are from a Joanna Sheen pad that I have had for some years, I did all the measurements, cut the paper and mounted it onto yellow linen card.

The images I have used on 2 sides are from the vintage collection at Pink Gem Designs, I coloured both of them with Copics, the large flowers were a gift from blogging buddy Rita, once again I have had these for a few years.

The flowers that I used for the centres I crocheted from a tutorial by HECTANOOGA  they are called 'loopy' flowers, I have used flower pearls for their centres plus for decoration around the box and lid.

The last picture shows both the box and scrunchies, these scrunchies also look great as wristwear, I followed a tutorial by YOLANDA SOTO LOPEZ
