GUARDIAN ANGEL

Hello again this is my second post of the day so if you would like to see my other work please scroll down.
My card share this afternoon features an image that I bought from Funky Kits many moons ago in a sale this little beauty is called 'Guardian Angel' I found her while sorting through tons of stamps, she seemed to fit the idea that I had in my mind for a clean and simple Christmas card.
I stamped the image with Momento Black Tuxedo ink onto linen card stock I then added just a hint of colour using cool grey Copics, I then mounted the image onto black card stock, I used some black and white gingham card stock that I got from Anna Marie Designs.
I visited the Range store for the first time yesterday, it opened near me a few months ago but I can't say that I was that impressed, I did however buy a X Cut border punch which I used on black card stock then used some black and white washi tape, finally I stamped a sentiment at the bottom, all the layers have been mounted onto the 6 x 6 white scallop card with foam tape, an idea that I picked up while watching Heidi on Create and Craft, the hint of colour was something else that I saw her demonstrate so I have done that as well with the image.

GOING BACK TO MY ROOTS

This is where it all started for me in the craft world, Decoupage, I used to buy sheet after sheet from a local craft shop and that is all I used to do, then I found my love of both rubber and digi stamps.
I saw that My Besties has a challenge blog all about 3'd decoupage so I thought, why not, so I bought a sheet from HERE, this one is called Milly Mae
One night last week I sat watching TV and cut all the pieces out, gosh it brought back some memories, die cut decoupage was not the 'in' thing when I first started crafting, everything had to be cut by hand good job I still got my little decoupage scissors.  To tell the truth it was very enjoyable.
I followed this sketch at My Besties 3D Deco Blog
The papers I used are LOTV all have been mounted onto black card stock including the image mount, I used Kraft card to adhere the image with silicone glue, I added the decoupage flowers and border that come with the sheet, I then added a bow and die cut hearts.
This nest picture shows the layers
and this final picture shows Milly Mae close up.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Many thanks to all my visitors and a special thanks to those who leave me comments they always mean so much to me.
Have a lovely day
