Wonderful News

I don't know if you have heard but I have been chosen to be a guest designer for two weeks at Stampin For The Weekend.........can you believe it.......I still can't I even asked my mum to pinch me lol. I am totally thrilled to bits and honoured for this fabulous opportunity. I feel so blessed with all the things that are happening to me in the land of blog lol. I owe it all to YOU the encouragement, inspiration, kindness and friendship it is YOU that have kept me going and I feel that I have improved so much and I thank you with all my heart dear friends big big hugs to you all.

My apologies

Hi all just in case you were wondering where I was I thought I would let you know why I am not around at present. My mum has been poorly and I have had her staying with me since Monday night until next Monday night when she will go to stay with my sister. I have been looking after her more or less full time and therefore have had very little time to visit you or to enter any challenges both of which I am missing terribly but I know you will understand. I am trying to fit some crafting in as I have received my first DT task for the Lime Light which has filled me with joy and the other fabulous news is that Penny has accepted me has a DT member which is also thrilling. I am so happy that I am involved with both and I feel so blessed at this time. Hugs to all and thank you for being my friends.

Wow wow I have been blessed yet again with two awards the first one is from lovely Lyn at Spyder's corner she is not only a great crafter but one very funny and cheerful lady, I have been given this award a few times now but it still means as much to me this time as when I first received it.

Cute Daisy May

Hi again this is my second card for this morning and it is another Christmas themed one. I now have two Christmas cards to my collection lol. This is for this week's entry to the Cute Daisy May challenge and decided on blue for this one. The backing papers are Bearlymine the Poinsettia's are from Fred She Said I added some grosgrain ribbon and a few gems. The image I coloured with promarkers and added some Crystal stickles to the fur I also added some midnight blue stickles to the centre of the flowers I hope you like it hugs to all.

Christmas with Squigglefly

Hi all hope you are well. This is my entry for this week's Squigglefly Challenge which has the Christmas theme and I have used the sketch from this week's Sketch Saturday. I have used an 8"x8" card base and Bearlymine backing papers the image is a freebie for this weeks Squigglefly challenge that I have coloured with promarkers and mounted onto raspberry mirror card and also black card. A Distressed Tilda Sketch

This is my entry for three challenges, hence the title, Tilda herself is not distressed in any way shape or form I would never do that to her lol. The first challenge is Lily of The Valley based on the sketch, the second is Just Magnolia the theme being 'Distressing' and the third is Scrappy Frogs who want your creation to have a Magnolia stamp on. I have used one of my favourite Tilda's and coloured her with promarkers, the backing papers are a mixture and I have distressed both the circle that Tilda is sitting in and the corners of the card. I am beginning to really enjoy this distressing technique and I am finding it much easier when I use Brilliance ink pads. I have added some flowers and leaves (cut from MS punch) and used some pearly doodles around the circle and popped one into Tilda's bow, I hope you like it hugs to all.

I'm half crazy all for the love of you........lol.....does anyone remember that song lol. This is my entry for this wek's The Crafty Pad Challenge based on the sketch. I have used Daisy from Funky Kits and coloured her with promarkers. The backing papers are a free download from Funky Hand the sentiment is from SU I have added a few gems and some flowers and gold pearly doddles. I hope you like it hugs to all.
