A Blue Fairy

Hi all I finally managed to get around and visit some of you before Blogger started playing up again and I did so love what I saw.

This is my card for two challenges the first is Flutter by Wednesday and Michelle Perkett Studio based on the sketch.  The image is from Michelle and I used blue and green Copics for colouring and shading I added some punched daisy's and yellow butterflies to match the ones on the butterfly fairy's dress.  I hope you like it and hopefully I will see you later.

Fun Fairy Friday #4 - Sketch

Wow I have finally got to post my Prairie Fairy Friday DT card and I apologise for being so late, I am really hoping that blogger is gonna start playing nicely now or I think I will cry.

This weeks challenge at Prairie Fairy Friday is based on this sketch and we would just love to see what wonderful creation you come up with.
This is my card using one of the Prairie Fairy images called 'Horsing Around' and you can buy it HERE.  I have coloured with Copics mounted the image a few times added a couple of flowers a ticket sentiment and some raffia ribbon I hope you like it hugs to all and hopefully see you later.

Crafty Ann's Challenge #7 - Metal

Hi all what a wonderful response we had to the last challenge it is such a wonderful experience to visit and see so many different takes on the theme.
Well today is the start of challenge #7 and we would like to see you use metal on your project/card, this could be mirror card, metal sheet, gilding just to name a few, and don't forget the winner receives some of Crafty Ann's own wonderful Digi items for her shop, just like these Roses which are new this week.
I couldn't resist using this beautiful image of the bunch of roses which is just perfect for any occasion but my thoughts were for Valentine's Day.
I used my MCS graphics programme and put the roses into one of Crafty Ann's oval frame coloured both with pro markers I used gold mica glitter on the big bow and the bow around the roses.
I have used gold mirror card on the base card then punched 4 circles out and used the Cuttle Bug Swiss dots embossing folder then mounted them onto deep red squares.  I finally added a computer generated sentiment. One of my brothers asked if I would make a 'nice' card for his girlfriend for Valentine's Day.
I hope he likes it and I hope you like it as well Hugs to all and see you later.
I do hope to visit you at some point in the near future as soon as blogger has sorted itself out.  I have been trying to leave comments but to no avail I think blogger is on more than an ordinary go slow so please accept my apologies, I will be coming around to see you.

Bears Rule

Hi all thought you might like to see the card I managed to make for three challenges the first is Paper Take Weekly which is the sketch, Die Cut Dreams who want to see you use bears and Just Cute Bears whose first challenge is 'One For The Girls'.  I have used one of the Squigglefly Shy Bear images coloured with Copics the backing paper is DCWV which I have had for quite awhile added a couple of flowers and some blue gems.
I was quite pleased with my colouring on this image mainly because I sat for quite a long time watching Copic colouring tutorials on You Tube and picked up some techniques.  Unfortunately as I only have a few it is difficult to do the shading but I managed...I think..lol...please let me know what you think.

I have been saving for some time and have finally managed to buy myself the Nellie Snellen flower punches and they came today so you may be seeing an influx of these on my work for a bit lol. Hugs to all and see you later.

Digital Tuesday DT Card - Challenge#43

Morning all today is the start of a new challenge at Digital Tuesday and this week we would love to see you make a humorous and/or a masculine card.
This weeks sponsor is none other than Dustin Pike.
I have tried to include a bit of both in my card a mixture of humour but also masculine, I hope I have succeeded.  I have used silver holographic card for the base then cut three stripes and mounted onto black card.  The image is a Dustin Pike freebie I picked up a long while ago but had never used.  I added some red feathers to sort of match the red feather on his helmet.  I think this card will be used by my mum to send to my son James for Valentine just for fun.

Cute Daisy May goes Vintage

Morning all hope you are fit and well.  Today is the start of our new challenge at Cute Daisy May and this week we would love to see 'Vintage'.  I have forever loved the Vintage look and have admired so many beautiful cards that have been shown on the blogs but alas I myself have never actually created one and still not sure that I have got it right.  However, I gave it a go and this is my DT card.
I have used a CDM image from sheet #100 and coloured her with pro markers.  Using my MCS graphics programme I found a vintage frame and transported the first image into it I then printed a second image cut her out and mounted her onto of the first one for a 3d effect.  I distressed the base card/paper with gold metallic rub on and added some gold mirror card and lace....I do hope you like it and for even more inspiration please take time to visit the other DT members their cards are truly fabulous.  Hugs to all.

The Rose Fairy

Hi all this is a card I have made for the first challenge at Michelle Perkett Studio the topic being 'Be Inspired'. I have used one of Michelle's fairy Digital Images and the verse at the top of the image says 'Nuture every dream as if it were a precious flower'.  I have used Copics to colour her in a mixture of papers and card, gems, silk flowers and I managed to fold a smaller concertina flower.  I hope you like it and thank you so much for looking. Hugs to all and see you later.
