Easter Triangle Box

Morning folks this is my entry for this weeks Sew Many Challenges the requirement being to make something with an Easter Theme.  I decided to make a Triangle box by following a tutorial at SCS.  I have used both Jovi and Duncan for this project so you get the best of both worlds an Easter Bunny and Easter Chick. I chose the colours pink, yellow and green which represents the typical colours of Tulips and Daffodils.  I used some pink gingham paper punched both top and bottom I used the same paper to stamp some flowers using my Elusive Image stamp cut them out and mounted them with silicone. The pink base and yellow card is from my stash so is the ribbon.  I coloured both Jovi and Duncan with pro markers cut them out and adhered with silicone.  Unfortunately I do not have any little Easter eggs yet so I used a Daffodil that I have had for many years to show the box effectively but I can assure you that both of my boxes will be filled with some lovely mini eggs lol. Prairie Fairy DT - A Bit Late (edited)

My apologies everyone I am a bit late posting my DT project this week, I had to wait for my mum to bring me my glue and tape before I could finish my box.  It was worth the wait though because here it is and I am so pleased with the finished project.  This weeks challenge at Prairie Fairy is to use tissue paper with your project.  I decided to follow a tutorial on SCS and made this box the tissue paper I have used for the inside the butterfly and dragonfly images are from Prairie Fairy and I coloured them with Sakura and promarkers.  The card stock I stamped with a flower stamp from SU with Versamark Dazzle, Champagne, I punched the flap of the box with MS punch then the holes for the ribbon.  I have kept the box open for you to see.

We loved the projects for last week and it was, as always, a joy to visit and see the wonderful creations, hope you will join us this week.

Crafty Ann's Challenge #10

Digital Tuesday Challenge #49 DT Card

Today is the start of a new challenge at Digital Tuesday and this week we would like to see some piercing on your project.  The sponsor this week is are own Ellie and the winner will receive a choice of three of her images from Digital Oasis.

This is my card using an image from Sew Many Cards and is called Morty Fishing I have used a mixture of backing papers from SU and Basic Gray I have coloured Morty with Promarkers added some gems and pierced around the image and the little circles that I have punched out. Why not check out the other DTs' work for some wonderful inspiration.

I am also entering this card into this weeks Sew Many Challenges the theme being to make a card for the men.

Tis Monday morn and a new challenge at Cute Daisy May, this weeks theme has been chosen by lovely Max and is Mothers Day this is my DT card.

I have used an image from sheet 166 and think she is so beautiful holding a gift for mum.  I have coloured with Copics the papers are a mix that I got from Crafts and Me Stamps they come cut into 6x6 squares, strips and little squares the selection is lovely.  I have added some gems, hearts, flowers and ribbon I hope you like it and please come join us.

Just Magnolia

Hi folks while visiting the blogs last night Shirley aka Nannieflash had a wonderful card posted that I fell in love with, it was for the Just Magnolia challenge it was so inspiring I just had to have a go.  I know mine is not as lovely but I really wanted to try this Tent Fold card so I checked out the tutorial and thought I would enter the Just Magnolia Challenge myself and last night made this.  

I have used Tilda coloured with Lyra Water Colours the flowers I stamped with Onyx Black Versafine cut them out and used as the frame.  The papers are a mix of SU and Funky Kits (I think) I added some pearls, ribbon and sentiment.  The oval Aperture I cut with a Nestie Oval.   I hope you like hugs to all see you later.
