It's A Green Christmas

Hi all I have made this card for the following challenges:
I hope you don't mind looking at a few photos of this one.
I have used an 8x8 card base, the image is a Pachela Studios Digi called Toby Tumblers Happy Times and available HERE
I have coloured the image with Copics and mounted onto Green Mirror Card, the base spotted paper is Bearlymine, the next bp is Basic Grey, both papers have been distressed and mounted onto Green Mirror card.
I have used green lace and a Christmas silk ribbon and bow.  I added some wooden snowflakes which I coloured with Copics, I have also added gems, pearls, pin, butterflies, Holly and a stamped sentiment.
I have added Star Dust Stickles to the flowers and image for a snow effect.
The pictures below show more closer detail.

You may not believe this but I wanted to make a clean and simple card, the trouble was I added some flowers and then it looked bare, so I added the snowflakes, it still looked bare, so then I added more flowers and all the rest of the embellishments, now I am not sure I like it, please let me know what you think.

My Little Chickadee

Hi all I made this card using an image by Deborah Boyet and is called Chickadee, I am entering this one into this months Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenge the theme being, Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall.
I coloured this beauty with Prisma pencils and Sansodor, I had to Google for a picture as I wanted to use the original colours, this is my interpretation, it may be slightly off the correct colour but it is near enough I think.
I have used a mixture of SU and K&Co papers which I have distressed I added some tabs, gems, flowers and a butterfly, I also added bronze stickles to the flowers and butterfly.
I hope you have enjoyed viewing my Little Chickadee and if you would like to own him ir other wonderful image then please visit

My next card shows the image called North Pole, once again I have coloured him with Prisma Pencils and Sansodor, the papers are all pearlescent, I added some card candy, ticket sentiment and Holly.

Meljen November Releases

Morning all today I have the pleasure of showing you some of the new November Meljen Digi Releases, they are now available at Whimsy Stamps, and as always they are gorgeous.
My DT cards are below and the first one is showing the image of Santa, a jolly fellow for sure.
It is my first time that I have made this tri fold shutter card I followed a tutorial (HERE) the second one I tried ended up in the bin, lol, but I will be making more of them.
I used Bazzill 12x12 card stock the papers are from SU, I printed and cut out two Santa Heads and coloured with Prisma pencils and Sansodor then mounted them onto either end of the card.  The sentiment is also from Whimsy Stamps and is a framed sentiment by Ann Vento, I used my graphics programme and mounted it onto a background colour.  I used a branch and 6 petal retro punch for the flowers and leaves, I used mirror card for shine.  I then tried the glitter technique using double-sided tape which I saw on one of my blogging buddies blogs, but drat it I forgot which one.  The glitter I have had for a few years and is gold mica it really shines up in real life, I will also be using this technique again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My second card is using the Winter Tree and also the same sentiment as above but on a different coloured background. I used Bearlymine paper, green card the edges of which have been punched using my EK Success punch, I added some ribbon, card candy and I also found a little star punch while searching through my cupboards so used that for the mirror card red stars.
Well that's it for the moment I hope you have enjoyed my work and please pop over to Whimsy Stamps to see their wonderful ranges by Melissa and Crissy to name just a couple.
Hugs to all see you in a bit.
Meljen Special Release
Hi all hope today finds you well, if you are one of the many that have caught a dreaded illness I hope you get well soon.  I know that it seems to be taking a long time to get rid of the bugs, so don't get doing too much too soon like I did, lol.
Meljen have released this special edition image to commemorate the one year anniversary of the death of Melissa's father, he loved fishing and this image depicts his love of that sport. The image is available from Whimsy Stamps HERE
I thought this time I would make just a clean and simple style, I have coloured the image with Prisma pencils and Sansodor, as I got a bit fed up with the bleeding when I coloured with promarkers and Copics, I thought I would try my pencils and I was much happier with the end project.
I used the PNG format in my graphics programme so I could use both the bucket of worms and the Moose fishing, I used my chalks for the blue background.
Hope you have enjoyed my card and I would like to thank you all for your wonderful comments.
Hugs to all see you in a bit.
Icy Tilda
Hi all today I have made a card that is just for challenges and they are as follows:
Ellephantastic - Butterfly & or Xmas
I have used Tilda with the Christmas Tree for my card.
I found it a little difficult to take a really good picture due to all the mirror card I have used but I hope the images below show the detail good enough for you to see.
I have coloured Tilda with Copics I used No 4 Nestie Labels to mount her on, I also treated myself very recently to the Whimsy Calender Stamp from Quixotic Paperie I used my SU Choc Chip ink for the stamping.
The bp is Bearlymine I found some etched silver card which I mounted onto pale blue card I used my 6 petal Retro Punch for the flowers. I added some lace, blue ribbon and bow, I also used my SU word punch for the side tabs, I then added Cosmic Shimmer Silver Twinkles to the centres of the flowers, the tabs and on the Christmas tree and headband of Tilda.
The picture below shows you a closer look at Tilda.
I would like to thank you all for looking at my card
