VALENTINE GIRL

Hi all, I hope that the weather is not too bad where you are, yesterday we had gale force winds and torrential rain, one minute the sun was shining the next the sky turned to night and all hell was let loose.

However, this morning it is cold but the sun is shining just hope we don't have a repeat of yesterday, lol.

Well onto my card that I would like to share with you and to enter into a few challenges.  I have used a brand new stamp and this is the first time I have used it, it is by Julie Nutting and is the Valentine set, I have used three of the stamps that are included in the set, the image, the little trio of hearts and the sentiment.

I actually paper pieced the girl with LOTV papers which are the same papers that i have used for the card, I also added some glitter to the heart and the frilly bit on her dress also her shoes, I then added a bow, resin hearts and flower pearls, sounds alot but I think it is quite a simple design.

Here is my DT card and I have used an image that I got from Stitchy Bear called 

Christmas Ornaments

I coloured the image with Graph It Markers, the sentiment I inserted by way of my MCS programme, once coloured I covered with glossy accents, the base card is a 7x5 embossed white card, I added some Bearly Mine paper then added some snowflake ribbon, the gem effect is a liquid that I bought a long time ago and have now forgotten where I got them from I didn't realise that once they were dry they looked like clear gems.

CRAFTY CARDMAKERS CHALLENGE #131

Hi all, today we have a new challenge for you over at

CRAFTY CARDMAKERS AND MORE

the theme is

COMBINE TWO OR MORE IMAGES

this can be merging digi images or the masking technique for stamps or however you would like to show how you use 2 or more images.

For my card I have gone down the digital image route, I have merged Tiddly Ink Images Sunshine Anabelle with 2 sets of Tiddly Inks Emmas flowers I also inserted a sentiment using MCS.

I have used Graph It Markers for the image, the papers are LOTV, I added a doily, punched butterflies, ribbon and flowers.
