OOH LA LA CHALLENGE #124

Hi all, if you have visited the Ooh La La Challenge blog you will already know that I am taking a break from the team.  I have been trying to pretend that everything is ok but in truth it isn't, I have reduced my DT commitments even further and stepped down from The Paper Shelter DT as well, the decisions have been very hard and sad but as many of you will understand depression is not a good friend to have at the best of times.

I will be rejoining OLLCB in a little while when I feel I can cope more.

I had made a DT card for the OLLCB and thought that you may like to see it, to see the rest of the teams awesome work and to participate in the challenge for the next two weeks then just go to

I made this card fold after reading the Joanna Sheen's Newsletter, I saw the instructions and decided to have ago, if you would like to try it out then just visit the Joanna Sheen Shop where you will find a Tutorial section for this and many more excellent card designs

This particular one is called a 'caged' card, I have used Adorable scorable card the papers and bookmark are from the OLL Shoes in Bloom 2 CD, this one is called Lily.

I have used gold satin card to mount the papers on, I added lots of gold glitter, gems and butterflies.

the second picture shows the bookmark with tassel.

Hi all, today we have a new challenge for you at

LOVE STORY

Here is my DT card.

I have used both papers and image from the new CD

Yesterdays Memories (details in side bar)

I have had ago at creating a double gatefold with centre card, I saw Jo demonstrate this on Create and craft a couple of weeks ago, I have used black card for the base, all the panels have been covered with the backing paper and black and silver holographic card, the side panels of the gate fold have been punched with the MS heart border punch, I have added a computer generated sentiment, cream flower pearls, butterfly, organza flowers and pearls.

The picture below shows the inside of the first gate fold when the centre card is lifted.  I have used dies for the sentiment and frame.
