I have some news to share

Morning all I wanted to share some wonderful and exciting news with you.

I have been chosen as one of the  new DT for ONE STOP CRAFT how brilliant is that I was bowled over when I heard and so filled with joy.....am I allowed to shout it from the rooftops.... WHOOPEE.

I feel the Lord has blessed me once again and I pray that I am worthy enough to fulfil the aspirations of all.

I am off to come visit you all and then make a card for ONE STOP CRAFT CHALLENGE which is 'BIRTHSTONES'

Chi Chi Memories Fathers Day DT project

Morning everyone hope you are all well and enjoying some lovely sunshine, unfortunately the warm weather does not agree with me and I have swollen up a bit, my hands are twice the size they normally are and quite painful. I have started visiting you but will have to continue tomorrow hopefully the swelling will have gone down by then.

Before I get to my DT project I wanted to say a big thank you for all your wonderful encouraging and supportive comments on my work that I show.  It is this continued friendship and support that helps me to try and find that little bit of inspiration to share with you. So Thank You.

It will soon be Fathers Day and Chi Chi Memories have a new set of images that are just perfect for the occasion and here is just one of the images that you can buy from HERE.

I decided to follow a tutorial on Liz's' blog HERE for the box and I just loved making it the top of the box has an aperture covered with acetate.  I used Bazzill 12x12 card the papers are a mixture from my stash I added a ribbon which says hugs and kisses also some card candy,  I then added a tag that matches the card I thought it would make a nice little set.

I have seen this desk tidy a couple of times and have really wanted to have a go at making one so I did.  I followed a tutorial  and have used Jaden as a gift tag.

I started off with Bazzill 12x12 card stock decorated with SU Night and Day 12x12 paper the bird images on each segment is one of the new slimline punches from SU.

I coloured Jaden with promarkers I hope you like my project and please come join us.

Chi Chi |Memories Challenge #5

Today sees the start of the new challenge sketch at Chi Chi Memories 

Here is my card

I really wanted to do a card with the red and white theme I have seen a few creations using this colour combo and they look so beautiful.
I have used red and white card along with a red and white polka dot bp.  The image is from Sunny Days coloured with Copics the sentiment is Cuddly Buddly I have added some card candy, little butterflies and flowers I hope you like it.

Don't forget you do not have to use a Chi Chi Memories image although it would be nice so please use the sketch and come join us at CHI CHI MEMORIES

Digital Tuesday Challenge #59 DT Card

Morning all its time for a new challenge at Digital Tuesday and this week lovely Michelle P has chosen the theme VELLUM.  We would love to see vellum used somewhere on your project.

Here is my card

I have used a black base card and mounted some sky blue card on, the middle section is using papers from my stash.  The image is one of the ones I won from Di's Digi Downloads coloured with promarkers and cut out with the scalloped Nestie.

I have used green vellum for my butterflies which is the SU punch I have actually double layered the butterfly the bottom layer is plain the top layer I embossed with the Cuttle Bug Swiss dots folder the added Platinum pearl drops.  I have also added some card candy and pearls.

Chi Chi Memories - New Release

Morning all this card I have made using the new Father's Day images available HERE from Chi Chi Memories

I decided to make an 8x8 tent fold card the papers are DCWV Butterflies and Blossoms I added some ribbon and flowers and a big pink bow.  The image I printed cut out then coloured with promarkers the balloon is also part of the set.
