WARM AND CUDDLY-NAUGHTY AND NICE

Hi all, I am back with two cards today they are Christmas themed one is stamped the other a digi.
My first card features a stamped image and sentiment from the Julie Nutting range of stamp sets.
I stamped the image, sentiment and holly with Momento Tuxedo ink, the image and Holly I coloured with Graph It Markers, I added some pale green marker to the sentiment. I mounted the image onto red cardstock, doodled a frame in both red and green pen then mounted onto a 6x6 white scalloped card.  Very plain, very simples and very flat.

For my second card I have used a Teddy Bo image coloured with Graph it markers and dotted with silver glitter.  I have used a mix of papers from both LOTV and Docrafts, both image and papers are mounted onto red cardstock and all edges have been rounded off using my XCut punch, I added a wide organza double bow topped with a flower, I also added two red glittered stars, and snowflakes punched out in gold mirri card.  I added some stickles to the flower.

I would like to share with you a picture of my mum's dad, my grandfather, he served in France during the 1914-1918 war, he was wounded but did survive, my mum and her twin sister were born in November 1919
Every time I look at this picture I am amazed at the likeness to my brothers I can see each of them, all 5, looking back at me.

The picture below is of my dad he served the duration of WW11 in Burma, he brought home the Burma Star and many awful memories, he rarely ever mentioned his time in the war, mum did tell us that dad's best friend died in his arms, my dad was one of the lucky ones and returned home to mum only to be taken from us so unexpectedly at the young age of 57.

Many thanks for visiting.
