ANNIVERSARY

Good morning everyone, I actually made a card this week but only because it was by request.  I have had so much trouble with the computer that I lost all heart.  However, after reading all your comments I picked up a few tips and now I can comment by right clicking on the comment button, Blogger is still not as it used to be but I can put up with that as long as I can visit you all and leave you a bit of love. I deleted a Malware programme that I have not really been happy with and that also seemed to make my computer a bit quicker, I am not saying too much in case Blogger or Chrome is listening.

At the beginning of the week my son asked me to make a card for his girlfriend's parents Silver Wedding Anniversary, this is what I came up with and at 3.45 am this morning I was told they loved it.

I have used an 8 x 8 white scalloped card base, I mounted black card stock, silver mirri card and white pearlescent card the latter I embossed with my 8 x 8 Embossilicious Swirl folder.  I then used my Tonic die cuts on black card the white pearlescent, I mounted them to the base card with foam pads for dimension,

I added some Viva Decor Silver Pearl drops, a wide double bow, Lily and a computer generated sentiment.

For once I also decorated the inside of the card mimicking the outside layers with the exception of the die cuts, this time I used X Cut scalloped rectangle dies in the 3 colours, the verse is from my Crafty Caz Ultimate Verse CD, I personalised it to read Mum and Dad, I then added two die cut/embossed silver hearts.

DELIGHTFUL THURSDAY

Good morning all today my card share features an image that is available form

I fell in love with this happy little snowman as soon as I saw him, I have coloured him with Graph It Markers then mounted him onto black card stock. the papers and also from Digital Delights, I used a 5 x 5 white scalloped card base, cut circles from both black card stock and the paper adhered them to the card base added the image and some punched Holly leaves red gems, gold mirri punched snowflakes and red organza ribbon.

ABC - V IS FOR VIBRANT

Hi all, this is my second and last post as GDT for the

For my card I have used an image from Oak Pond which is the Holly and Bow, I coloured the image with Graph It Markers, the papers are from Dovecraft,  I used my EK Success Circle Cutter for the large circle and my Spellbinders circle die for the smaller one, I added die cut snowflakes, bells and my woodware punch for the holly leaves.

Although I have made several changes to the settings on my blog things are still going wrong when using Google Chrome, I am using Explorer but it isn't right either, it is so different to what I am used to but at least I am able to both publish and leave comments.

JUST FOR YOU

Hi all, today my card share is a 'Just for You' card a friend is going in to hospital tomorrow for an operation like me he is a lover of dogs, I wanted to let him know that we would be thinking of him so I made this card.

I have used my MCS Vintage programme the paper, and framed image is from the CD, I printed out two sets of the Lillie's cut them out and decoupaged them. I then added a bow. The Lillie's are not blue by the way it is how the camera took the picture the light is not good at the moment, it is dark, cold and raining.

I did manage to get part of my commenting done on Chrome then it started it's antics again and finished off on Explorer, I think that is where I will be doing my future posting on Blogger from, if things do not improve soon I will be creating a new blog from scratch.

I have reported all the issues so maybe in time they will get sorted.

I had a message from Eddie's Foster Carer and he has settled back with them fine, it's as if he had never been away from them, it put my mind at rest to know that he is OK.

Jess is also a lot happier which makes me feel so much better having to make such a hard decision, I know it was for the best.
