Spring Fever and lots of Bling

As promised in my earlier post this is one of the new Pixie Faeries available from Charmed Cards it is a digi stamp and they come in a pack, you get so much for your money its great. I am using this card for two challenges the first is Flutter By Wednesday which is Spring Fever and the second is Stamp Something which requires the use of as many embellishments as you like...wow. This is the 'forget-me-not' pixie faerie and I have coloured her accordingly with promarkers. I was sent some gorgeous SU papers from my friend Stef aka Glitterbabe and this paper was meant for this faerie I have a Forget Me Knot Flower Fairy stamp which came with the flower name as well which was also very handy for this card. I stamped it in Versafine Onyx Black onto a lovely bright green card. I added a silk butterfly and coloured some white Flora Doodles in the same colour as the flowers and they all have gems in the middle I also added some more gems down the one side and some pressed leaves I hope you like it hugs to all will be back later.

Another 4 in 1

Hi all this is the second card that I said I would be posting today and is my entry for four challenges which are as follows:

Spoonful Of Sugar Butterflies
Simon Says Pink and Brown
Flutter by Wednesday A sketch with butterflies and/or fairies.

I am quite pleased with this card not only because I managed to complete it for four challenges but I also had another go with distressing and I think it worked.....do you think so as well? I used Tim Holtz Tattered Rose this time instead of the Mahogany colour I think using the lighter colour didn't look so frightening.

Ok I have used a Sugar Nellie stamp with a little butterfly coloured it with promarkers in pink and brown but not just one of each I used different shades. The sketch is lovely and easy to work with I used Bearlymine backing papers and also did some distressing on that as well, I added four little glittered butterflies to the corners some gems, flowers and sentiment. I hope you like it. Hugs to all

Flutter by Wednesday

A very good morning to everyone hope you are all enjoying this gorgeous weather we are having at the moment.  This is my entry for the Flutter By Wednesday Challenge which requires the use of brads and/or eyelets.  I decided to use brads on this one and have put them in all four corners of the image.  The butterfly I stamped three times and coloured with promarkers the main image is the base one the other two I cut the wings out then layered as you can see in picture two.  I used Bearlymine backing papers added a few flowers plus a ribbon strip of flowers and a sentiment again from the Bearlymine CD.  I hope you like it hugs to you all.

I've done a Three in One

This is my second posting tonight (or should I say morning) before I started I checked my comments and I found such joy and fun reading your stories of the birds in your gardens they are a wonder and I agree they are clever little devils lol.  This card took me ages to do believe it or not I didn't want to rush it and after what happened last week I thought I should take it nice and easy lol.  Tell you what though I love it I was so pleased with the finished product and hope you will feel the same.  I had a little dig around in some of my boxes for this stamp I had the idea of a card and wanted to use this particular one which I bought from Stamp Addicts awhile ago now.  I stamped it directly onto the designer paper first then stamped it another three times then coloured it in.  If you look at the top picture you will see that I have actually layered it.  The papers are from Raspberry Road Designs and Cuddly Buddly Freebies I have used layering quite a lot on this one which looks really nice in the flesh lol.  I have added a few flowers and some gems.  Now the challenges that I am entering this one for is Stamp Something the sketch, Flutter By Wednesday which requires two designer papers and finally Divine Diva Inspirational Challenge which is based on an inspirational photo and this is my interpretation of that.  I think I have covered everything and wish you a good night and see you all tomorrow.  Hugs to you all. Ps My other card for this evening is the one below this, just thought I'd mention it lol.

Flutter By Wednesday

Morning dear friends hope you are all doing well and crafting away lol.  I managed to make this card for the Flutter By Wednesday challenge the theme being to use a fairy/butterfly and a saying/sentiment well this is my effort.  I stamped the butterfly onto acetate with black Stazon then glittered it the backing paper is some origami papers that I found quite by accident I have added the sentiment some satin ribbon and a flower. Hugs to all

Flutter By Wednesday-Inspirational

Good morning all the sun is shinning here in Gloucester and looks so lovely outside the birds are singing makes you want to be out in the garden and that is where I am going in a mo.  I have the pond to finish off and a few bits and bobs to do so I thought I would post this card first.  This weeks challenge at Flutter By Wednesday is based on a picture taken by Danni.  I have used my daisy stamp by Serendipity again but this time coloured it in pink, the butterfly I have coloured in a mixture of red, orange and light brown I have added another flower at the top and to keep the other butterfly company added another one in the corner.  I painstakingly cut the flower out with my craft knife so it was sort of free standing.  The backing papers are from Funky Fairy's, I mounted the daisy onto a brown oval and stamped dream on the side.  I have used my promarkers for this one and hope you like it.  Hugs to you all.

Flutter By Wednesday-Patriotic Fairy

Oooo I nearly forgot the Flutter By Wednesday Challenge so this is my first posting for tonight as I definitely do not want to miss it.  The theme this week is to use red, white and blue a fairy and/or butterfly so I thought I would use both but the limelight is obviously the fairy.  I have used promarkers and to stay within the colour theme I used red on her hair and ruby red for the flower and her dress I have sat her on a pale blue leaf but hey she is a mystical fairy.  I have added a couple of Dahlia flowers with some of my white buds and a butterfly sticker which I put onto red card and cut out, finally added a sentiment stamped in red brilliance.  Hope you like it but I will be back with some more because I managed to get three done this afternoon/tonight so I am a contented bunny lol.  Thank you all so much for your lovely comments and I must say I feel that my card making has improved since I started blogging and you my fab followers can take the praise for that.

Flutter by Wednesday

Hi everyone hope you have all had a great day the weather seems to have been good to most of you it started off very foggy here and didn't brighten up till tea time. Anyway I have been doing my daily rounds of your blogs and I am in awe the talent and beautiful creations never cease to amaze me each day it gives me the motivation to keep trying.

Ok this card is my entry for this weeks challenge at Flutter By Wednesday I have used a new digital image that I bought from Becca Kay Designs called Angel of Hope and isn't she just fab. I have coloured her in promarkers added flora doodles with a tassel and stamped 'dream' on the backing paper. Just a reminder that its the first challenge over at Becca Kay Designs you make a card using one of her digital images and she has several free ones on her site so go and have a go there is a prize for the winner.

Flutter by Wednesday and Faerie Song Art

I have just finished visiting my followers blogs, which I try to do a couple of times a day, and my word the inspirational creations that you have all made is mind blowing so full of talent and I am learning so much from you all.

OK this is my card for two challenges the first is Flutter By Wednesday which, next to the Tilda challenges, is a firm fave because its fairy's and butterflies. The theme is to use die cuts and/or punches I have actually used my Cricut machine to cut out the shapes that the fairy is mounted on and a round edge corner punch on the backing papers. The fairy stamp I got from Faerie Song Art Stamps and is for their challenge on PCP the backing papers are freebies from Gina K the ribbon is from my own stash. Hope you like it Hugs Lorraine x

Fairy Day/Flutterby Challenge

Hi all thank you for your lovely comments on my cards and the time you have taken to visit me. This is the 'Cute Fairy' from Becca Kay Designs and this is one of the great things about Digital Stamps I have used an A5 card and therefore needed a larger image so I did just that and now you can see her in all her glory. I have used her before but on a square card and the image was much smaller than this one. I have coloured her using promarkers and also used a cream coloured mat which again I changed the size in my graphics programme as you can see I have the same one but much smaller for the sentiment. I have added a flower and some glitter stickers that I have had for some time now and the backing paper was sent to me by Stef aka Glitterbabe. Now this card I thought would also be great for the new challenge site I found called Flutterby Wednesday which is for butterfly and fairy lovers, awesome. Hope you like it and please check out my other cards that I made for challenges yesterday.
