PRETTY WOMEN

I have always loved seeing crafters use these stamps from Prima, so much so that I bought myself a couple, in fact I have just ordered a Christmas one that I hope to get early next week. 

I have kept this card very clean and simple I stamped the image 3 times onto Linen card stock with Momento Black Tuxedo ink, I only used a touch of colour for the hair and skin using my Graph it Markers, I then decided to paper piece them using some left over scraps from my SU dotty paper, I stamped the sentiment and the sun, which I also paper pieced, I mounted the linen card onto black card then adhered it to a 6 x 6 scalloped white card

I coloured Jimmie with Graph It Markers then cut him out, I used the Sunset Scene background which I thought was perfect, I added a ticket sentiment and just added a few birds in the sky.

BALLERINA MINE #2

Today the sun is shinning but still a little windy and not as warm as it has been but I am certainly not complaining about that, lol.

I mentioned in my post on Sunday that I was going to post my second Ballerina card and here it is, I chose a completely different colorway than my first card.  I was inspired by the song 'Ballerina Mine' by Nat King Cole, I used Graph It Markers for the image, the papers are from Elusive Images (now Chocolate Baroque) I have had them for ages and ages but the pattern and colours fitted what I wanted for the image, I added some yellow organza ribbon and bow, a rose cluster resin flower, pink flower and a sentiment.

LET THE SUN SHINE IN

Today I have a card to share with you that features one of the new Sherri Baldy Fancy Pants digi images, this one is called 'Saturday Afternoon Stroll, and I have coloured her with Graph It Markers.

I mounted the image onto both pink and yellow card stock, I used my Dimension Stamps for the sentiments around the edges of the image, the inks I used were from SU.

I used yellow gingham card stock and pink happy birthday card stock both from Anna Marie Designs, I then punched some wee little flowers and used Viva Decor Yellow pearls for their centers. I have kept this one quite clean and simple so the card and image could take centre stage.

I took a photo of the main card from 2 different angles due to the light changing not sure which one is best.

BALLERINA MINE

Well Hurricane Bertha decided to bypass the Gloucestershire area but we have had torrential rain and a few claps of thunder but all is well.  

I had major problems with Blogger yesterday it just would not open up any of the blogs but it appears that today it feels like playing ball so I thought I would post one of my 'Ballerina' cards that I have made over the last few days.  I noticed on Facebook that Morgans Fae World had a special 25% off her images so I treated myself to the set of 'Dancers' available HERE

I chose the title Ballerina Mine as these images reminded me of the song by Nat King Cole.

I bought the set of four and have made cards with two of the images I will try and post the other one tomorrow.

I have used a colour combo of yellow and brown, the papers are SU Dotty paper all mounted onto Kraft card.  The image I coloured with Graph It Markers then used my 18ct Gold Leaf pen around the outside, I then mounted her onto both yellow and Kraft card, I punched the flower circles out with my SU punches and added a couple of resin Dahlia flowers, I added a sentiment that I got from Anna Marie Designs also some ribbon and yellow organza bow topped with a yellow button
