Hi all, today it is raining, windy and very cold, yesterday the sun was shining although still very cold, I have finally resorted to putting the heating on for an hour at night. Last night we had a power failure and lost all electric for 2 hours mum had come round while my brother went out for a few hours so I was glad I had her for company. Jess is frightened of the fireworks so kept cuddled up with mum.
A week this coming Sunday mum will be 95 years young so I have been making some cards for her, this one i am sharing with you today is for my son James to give to her.
I have used a digital image from Besties and is a little different to the usual 'big eyes' images, she is called 'Sweet Lil Rose' I have coloured her with Graph It Markers and Copics, I doodled the frame, added some gold leaf around the edging and mounted her onto Bazzill cardstock. The base card is from Hunkydory, I folded the A4 sheet in half then cut is down to make a square, I then measured the edges, cut then embossed fold lines to make a side step card, I added a double bow using organza and gingham ribbon, the banners I adhered using 3d foam pads, flowers, sentiment then found an old wood mounted stamp 'Nan' and stamped it on the image.
