IT'S TIME FOR THE ALLSORTS CHALLENGE

 Good morning all, today we have a new challenge for you at

ALLSORTS

the theme has been chosen by Mervi and it is

ANYTHING GOES with the option of VINTAGE

We have two prizes to be won they are from

I have gone with the Vintage theme

I have used an image from A Day For Daisies called Vintage Slip, I have coloured her with Graphic and Copic markers, the papers are a mix from my files, I have done quite a lot of distressing using Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Ink, I have added a vintage triple ribbon bow, rose display also distressed with the same ink, a heart button, punched butterflies, black lace, small resin frame, resin embellishments, liquid pearls and a sentiment, phew I think that's all, lol.

 Good morning, today I would like to share with you my card featuring the image

I have coloured this little cutie with both Copics and Nuvo markers I added some pink liquid pearls and a pink organza bow, the papers are from my stash.

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love all animals however, there are a few that stand out and one of them is the Bear, no matter what sort or colour, I think it goes back to the time of cuddly teddies, I still have two teddies I love them.

BLUE PUMPKIN

 Good morning, today I have my CCK Facebook DT card to share with you, this image is called Blue Pumpkin but I used orange so I hope it hasn't confused you, I have kept my card quite simple I coloured the image with my usual markers, the papers are from my stash, I added a stamped sentiment and some punched butterflies the base card is actually silver.

IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LIKE LOT CHRISTMAS

 Hi all, today I would like to share with you my final GDT cards for Conie Fong

My first card I have used the 'star shape' the papers are from my stash, I added a red punched border and Poinsettia with liquid pearls, I coloured the image with both Nuvo and Copic markers I added gold stickles to the snowflake. The image is called 

SUSIE SNOWFLAKE 

My next card is the image called

BENNY'S CHRISTMAS 

I coloured him with Graphic, Nuvo and Spectrum Noir markers, I added stickles gold glitter, Rosette and a stamped sentiment, the papers are a mix from my stash.

I would like to enter this one into the challenge at 

KRAFTY CHICKS - CHRISTMAS

Many, many thanks for your comments regarding the upset I had with the cat, turned out he was just a kitten but not the teeny new born.

I contacted the vets and was totally heartbroken once again when they told me that there was nothing they could do for him. 

They x-rayed him and did an ultra sound, his pelvis was damaged beyond repair and his spleen had ruptured, so they put him out of his pain.

There was no chip but they have put it's details on the Lost & Found to see if anyone contacts them.

I thank you all for relating similar stories that have happened to you and I know that you know just how I am feeling, I keep seeing him all the time, the only thing that is taking my mind off it for a short while is my crafting. 

My eyes feel like a rasp they are so sore but I know that I did what I could and even the vets thanked me I just wanted him to live......

I will be popping by to thank you all personally but I have to go to my mums now so see you later.

ANYTHING AUTUMN REMINDER

 Good morning all, hope that you had a lovely weekend 

Today we have an inspirational reminder post for

WE LOVE CHOCOLATE BAROQUE

The theme this month is 

ANYTHING AUTUMN

For my DT card I have used a stamp from the AUTUMN POPPY SET this was my first ever buy some years ago it is a large A4 set and I have used most of the stamps 

This one features just one of the Mushroom images as you can see it is a very CAS style I have coloured the image with Nuvo and Graphic markers and added a stamped sentiment.

I have used Orange & Black.

I want to thank everyone who has taken time out to leave me a comment they are truly wonderful and supportive.

I have not had a good weekend I have been so upset and my heart has been breaking. 

On Friday evening I witnessed a cat run over outside our block of flats, we live on the top floor over looking the main road, I saw the cat roll and try to run away, I bolted down stairs to see if I could help it, fortunately one of the ladies who also lives in our block had just arrived home and was kind enough to come and help me look for it, we found it just over the other side of the wall on the pavement, I just broke down with so much grief and my heart was hurting, the cat was still alive but it's back legs were splayed I knew then that it had been seriously hurt, a lady that was sat with her family in the pub garden came over and offered to phone the emergency vets.  My friend went to fetch my partner who brought down a thick cover so I could put it over the cat I just kept stroking it's head and talking quietly to it.  It had been breathing very hard but did start to calm down, it was a young cat with such beautiful markings and obviously well looked after. 

My partner and friend stayed with it while I went knocking on the doors over the road which is the direction it had come from, all of the people admitted to having cats and some admitted to having at least six, but not one said it could be theirs and not one came to check.

The car that had hit the cat did not stop, apart from the lady who phoned the vets no-one came to see if they could help.

The vets came and took the cat away I will be phoning them later to see if it survived. 

The thing is the road has a 30 mile speed limit I think 5% keep within that limit the rest exceed 40+ it is frightening.

I was not surprised at the lack of peoples caring which is why I love animals and always have, always will.

I have cried my heart out until I have no more tears left, I am having nightmares when I can finally sleep it hurts so much to see an animal in pain, I thank the Lord that I was able to help and maybe even saved it's life.
