Hi all, today I am a GDT for
as you can see in my sidebar one of my projects was featured on their challenge blog and as a result I was invited to be a GDT and here I am with my card.
The theme is
VINTAGE
I have followed a tutorial that was recently shown on one of my long time blogging buddies Brenda (Floral Fantasies) blog, I fell in love with the fold and decided that this was a great time to try it out.
I have used SU brown cardstock for the base fold, the papers are from the Art Deco selection that I got from Create and Craft all papers have been mounted onto gold mirri card. I added some lace that I seem to have had forever and again thought it would be perfect for this card. I distressed the white doily using TH Vintage Photo ink also used it to distress around the image, the image is a stamp from Kanban called Cavendish Ladies, the Art Deco corner is a stamp from LOTV, the sentiment and one flower is also from the Art Deco set, they came in with the papers. I added a wooden/chipboard embellishment at the top also distressed with TH ink, I attached a black bow, finally I added some sepia daisies, gold and pearl jewel and gold hat pin
The image was stamped with Momento Tuxedo Ink and coloured with Graph it Markers
