Little Cutie

Hi all this is my second post for today for my Chi Chi card please scroll down.

I really wanted to make a card for a couple of challenges so I came up with this one.  I have used one of my Heather Ellis Pure Innocence images I coloured her with Copics and added some Pixie Dust Stickles to the flowers, the sentiment is computer generated.

I used some paper that I found in my scrap box but I think it may be Basic Grey, I made some more of my flowers using the small 1" six petal punch, I have used little gold brads for their centres I also added ribbon, gems, card candy and a little pink ribbon sentiment.  The two corners are a double layer of a doily with a little flower and gem.

Here is my DT card showing the new release of Halloween digi images

I have used Bearlymine papers mounted onto both orange and black card.

I have used the PNG images and put the candles, bat and sentiment (all part of the set) onto the paper then coloured them with promarkers, the bat I printed three time and 3d'd him, the flowers are handmade by me .  The picture below shows that the bat stands proud of the base.

Here is my DT card

I have used an image that is a first for me, this little girl giving Jovi a cuddle, I think this image shows the love this little girl has for her friend.

I have coloured them with promarkers, I have used one of the new Tartan bp available from Crafty Ann's Digi Shop. The flowers I made myself but left them more crinkled and just rubbed the edges randomly with Momento Black ink, I think they look like Carnations.

More Exciting News To Share

Hi all I have some news that I would like to share with you all.

I have a new DT role with AUD SENTIMENTS

I was stunned when I found that I had been chosen I am so looking forward to creating for them, I do hope you will help me celebrate.  I look forward to seeing my blogging buddies and more at Aud Sentiments Challenges.  I will be showing my first piece in Challenge #11, #10 has just begun and the sentiment to be used is 'Best Wishes', this can be added to if you like.  The sponsor is The Stamping Boutique the challenge runs every other Thursday. 

I have been so fortunate to have been chosen to serve on so many wonderful DT's and as a 'THANK YOU' to my followers for your continued encouragement and support I am going to offer some candy.

I will show a picture hopefully on Saturday but it will be one of my Accordion Box Files (different to what has already been shown) plus a Magnolia Stamp one of my unused beloved Tilda's and a few other little goodies.

I do not need this to be posted in side bars as once again this is for my followers/supporters only.

Bless you all for your wonderful comments on my work, which I have thought lately had become slightly mediocre, I think I was not in a good place for a little while lol, but hey I had my SKY fitted today and I can now watch Create and Craft again while I do my crafting.

I had always been with Sky until a year ago when I gave another company a chance, what a silly billy I was....another lesson learnt.

Stamping Vacation DT Card

Morning all today I am showing my DT project for Stamping Vacation, the theme for this one is called 'Sketch Therapy' here is the sketch.

and here is my card

I have used a mixture of papers the main one is from Elusive Images, I have distressed one of the papers added some flowers, card candy and sentiment.  I decided to use one of my favourite Tilda's (actually they are all my favourite's lol), I also used a Magnolia Bench, both image and bench I coloured with Copics.

Here is my DT projects using new images available from Whimsy Stamps

I have created yet another of my accordion file boxes, I have used SU card and papers plus a new image from Crissy Armstrong called 'These Three Remain', I love this butterfly which shows the words, Faith, Hope and Love.  I have coloured this one with Copics and attached to the box for adornment.

(I will be choosing a name at random from all comments left on my blog, relating to this posting, and that person will receive this Accordion File as a gift from ME.  I will announce my winner on October 1st.)

My second project is a card using a new image called 'Chilly Bear' 

I have used Elusive Images bp added some ribbon in both blue and white, the bow is also made using the same two ribbons so is a double bow, I added a charm and Stickled the bear quite a bit so he looked puffy.

My next project is actually a new Meljen release from last Thursday but I just so wanted to use this adorable doggy image.

The bp is Bearlymine I have mounted both onto green card, the wide ribbon, lace look is felt, I added a little silk sentiment and card candy.  The image I used in PNG format and added the 'Howdy Pardner' I coloured the image with promarkers.

I would also like to mention that Ann has just released a new Custom Design Range of Stamps which you will find at Whimsy Stamps, I think that while visiting some of the other DTM blogs you may see these in use, I haven't got mine yet but when I do I will be showing it to you lol.

Sir Stampalot and Whoopsie Daisy Challenges for September

Hi all I can't believe it is the first day of September, where is the time going, but this is an extra special day because it is the launch of the new monthly challenges for both Sir Stampalot and Whoopsie Daisy so without further ado let's have a look to see what we are doing this month.

SIR STAMPALOT - DISTRESSED

I have chosen a pink theme for my card, the papers are Basic Grey and I have distressed them with my Tim Holtz tool then added diamond Stickles to some of the edges.  The flower is one I made myself and again used the distressing tool, I added ribbon and gems, the image is Ballerina Molly from the Molly Blooms range of clear stamps available to purchase from Sir Stampalot, I have coloured her with Copics.

WHOOPSIE DAISY - PILE ON THE FLOWERS

This I know will be another favourite theme for many of you as I see the most wonderful flowers displays when visiting you all.

Here is my DT project which is a card and matching bookmark.

The image is from sheet 198 and I have coloured her with Copics, the bp is Elusive Images, I used my circle cutter and added some mini flowers using my Pinflair multi punch, I also added black grosgrain ribbon the flowers I punched using both large and small six petal punches.

These two pictures show the items separately.

Digital Tuesday Challenge #74

Good morning all I hope you are all well and ready for a new challenge at Digital Tuesday.

Here is my DT project

I have made a gift box called a 'Slim Jane' which is quite tall at 10" and is perfect for pencils or taper candles and so easy and quick to make, the link to this box if you would like to have ago is HERE

I have used Bazzill pink card stock used Bearlymine bp, lace, ribbon, tag and the front bow I made myself.

The card is SU base the pink is the same card as used with the box the image is from Spyder's Digi Shop. this will be used as a little gift set for a member of the family.

GDT Spotlight

Hi a few weeks back I was chosen as one of the Top Three in the Delightful Sketches Challenge and this was the card that won me that honour. ( I was also chosen once again in the top 3 for the Primary Colour Challenge last week, how wonderful is that)

Not only did I win the Top 3 Badge, now in my sidebar, I also had the choice of an image and a GDT spotlight, featured today.

This is the card I made using my new image from Digital Delights.

I have used Basic Grey Wisteria papers as I wanted to use a purple colour, once again the flowers I made myself, well there is still a recession and things are a bit tight so I have to try and cut back on some items, besides I love making them lol.  I added ribbon, gems and sentiment, 

I am also entering this one into this weeks challenge at 

Sarah Hurley the theme being Monochrome.
