Hi all today I have two cards to show you that I have made using just two of the new releases from

Crafty Sentiments

My first card I made using the new image called 'Water Lilly Frog' I chose this image because my frogs have already started croaking merrily away.

I have used Bearly Mine Spots Papers in the fresh Spring colours of green and yellow, I have used a combination of both green and yellow card stock for mounting both image and papers, I added a gold/green ribbon, card candy, Die Cut corner and a stamped sentiment from Whimsy Stamps.

For my second card I have used the new image of the Windmill, I also added a Crafty Sentiments image called 'relax', all images have been coloured with Copics.  The papers are from the same set as above but this time is yellow and blue. I have added a strip of flowers that my mum gave me, some gems and a stamped sentiment.

Digi Doodles Shop Challenge #97

Hi all it is time for a new challenge at

PINK AND GREEN

Here is my DT card using the gorgeous image FASCINATION

I have coloured this little cutie with Copics, the papers are a mixture from my stash, I have added a stamped ticket sentiment, gems, flowers punched with an MS punch, and a green ribbon which I runched at the one edge.  I think this colour combo is perfect for the start of March which brings hope and delight of the wonderful Spring time season.

Floating Free and an Easter Card

Evening all, I know it is unusual to see me post twice in one day but I made a couple of cards using some new releases available at The Paper Shelter, I just could not wait to show you them

My first card I made using the beautiful new image called 

Little Acrobat Doll

I have coloured her with Copics, the paper is also a new release called Love Letters, the set is so beautiful, I used my Victorian Edged cutting blade for all the cutting, mounting and layering, although not too much layering as I wanted the base paper to stand out.  I have used the colours of purple, pink and green, I added some lace to both side of the central strip, I used my scalloped Nestie dies to mount the image on, once I had coloured her I cut her out and adhered her 3'd with silicone glue, I added pearls, flowers, organza ribbon, dotty ribbon and some more Memory Box die cuts.

Why I called this floating free was because I have made the image float free of the card as seen below, with the help of acetate. 

It bobs and bounces when moved, underneath the image is the sentiment which I put into the Memory Box bird cage, the sentiment is silver and says 'thank you'. 

My second card shows the new image called 'Most Adorable Easter Bunny' oh dear I do love her so much. I have used the precoloured version, and added a few embellishments of gems, bow, pins, flowers and stickers.

Hi all today we have a new challenge for you at

Here is my DT card using the adorable image, Bear Picking Flowers, I have coloured him with Copics.  The papers are also from The Paper Shelter collection called Sweetest Love.

I have made a double Gatefold Card, the flower on the front is made using the SU daisy die cut, I have used different card stock the main one being SU Razzleberry.

This is a picture of the inside, I hope that you can see the inside fold that I decorated with gold mirri card which reflects the image and papers in the central part of the card. 

I added another flower and sentiment 

The final picture shows the image a little closer.

Some New Releases

CRAFTY SENTIMENTS CHALLENGE

Hi all before I tell you about our new challenge I would like to thank you all for your well wishes.  I went to my doctor, I have been put on both steroids and anti biotics, I had to take 6 of the steroids as soon as I got home plus one of the anti biotics plus my tablets for depression, I have been having breathing difficulties so I thinks the steroids are to help with that as well as the infection I have. I don't normally read the papers that come with the tablets but as I have never taken steroids before just thought that I would check and it seems that if you suffer with depression or mental health issues, which I do, they could escalate the problem, so I had better beware.  I was a little concerned because my doctor always overruns with his appointments and I was kept waiting for over 3/4 of an hour and the surgery was actually all locked up by the time I got in to see him.  I thought it all was a bit rushed but he is the doctor so I am sure he knows what he is prescribing.  

Anyway enough of me I want to tell you about our new challenge over at

Here is my Spring Card I hope that you are going to like it.

I have taken two pictures so you could see it from the side, I have kept it quite simple this time, I have used the gorgeous Crafty Sentiments image 'Cute Amy' I love her and she is a dream to colour which I have done with Copics.  I mounted a doily onto the top part of the card then added some paper and flower I cut Amy out and 3'd her with silicone glue. I added some ribbon and flowers to the bottom part of the card.

I will be entering this one into some challenges but I will do that later as i have scheduled this post.

Christmas Card Club-Fancy Folds

I am a day late but here is my Christmas card that I made themed for the Christmas Card Club the theme is fancy Folds.

I decided to do a side stepper card I have used papers from the Bearly Mine Christmas range, I added some silver borders, the Snowman is a clear stamp from Polka Doodles, I coloured him with promarkers, the trees are also from the same set all have been inked with Momento Black Tuxedo ink, I added some glitter to the front tree, I stamped a sentiment to add.

Things did not turn out very well for me yesterday, I have a doctors appointment later today and then I will be continuing my commenting.
