Hi all I am back again with yet another but much larger Criss Cross card and I thank you for the lovely and encouraging comments I have received on the first one I posted. I think I have given you a few ideas and Pinky mentioned that this type of card would be perfect for invitations which is exactly what my son said when I showed it to him. This time I made a 7 x 7 card and added a flower that I made following a tutorial from SCS and is a Dahlia. It looks a bit complicated but if you are used to teabag folding it is on the same lines as that technique. The papers and the birds that I have used you can get from Crafty Ann's site they are from her own line of digital images. I have stamped a leaf design on the papers in Versamark to give it a watermark effect I am entering this into this week's Allsorts Challenge the theme being Autumn Days, The sentiment on the inside insert reads:
The Kiss of the Sun for Pardon
The song of the birds for mirth
One is nearer God's Heart in a garden
Than anywhere else on earth
by Mrs Dorothy Frances Gurney
This is a sentiment rubber stamp that I got a while back from Stamp Galaxy. I thought I would also let you know that I posted my cards for the troops Task11 on the Lime Light Blog so if you would like to take a look, not just at mine but some of the other DT members, then please take the time to visit. Well that's it for the moment I hope you enjoy my creation hugs to all and see you later.
