ROSE IN STORM

Hi all, tonight I have a card to share with you that I finished yesterday I have used a new (to me) image from Ching-Chou Kuik she is called Rose in Storm which I thought was highly appropriate considering the awful weather we are having and apparently due to have in the coming days.

I have gone for a rather dramatic colour combo of black and yellow, I coloured the image with Graph It Markers and Copics for the skin tones.  The black cardstock I embossed with a rose embossing folder, I used my Tonic die for the trellis then added some Cosmic Black Pearl PVA for the pearls, finally I added a new Kanban floral sentiment that I got in the post yesterday and some roses and white organza bow.

I have made this card that features an image that I won from Stitchy Bear

called Christmas Ornaments

I coloured two of the baubles with Graph It Markers the third one I glittered, I used my MCS programme to merge the sentiment.

The papers are from my stash the green base paper is also glittered, I then added a couple of glittered stars and a metallic silver bow.

I took a photo of the card from 2 different angles trying to show up the glitter on the baubles .

Wow it is a busy week for me showing off my debut DT cards but I am enjoying sharing all my excitement and creations with you all.

I have used a few new crafting goodies on here the papers are LOTV they came last week, Papermania Glitter Domes I bought from The Range  and one of my new Tiddly Ink Clear Stamp Images, all are brand new.

I coloured the image with Graph It Markers and Copics, I mounted both image and papers onto textured cardstock, I used the same cardstock for the frame die cut and butterfly border finally I added some punched butterflies, sentiment (new), organza bow, and a punched border

Hi all, yes you read the title description correctly I made it onto the new DT at 

CRAFTY CARDMAKERS

I was thrilled to have been offered this chance to serve with such a talented group of people.

Our first challenge for the New Year is

SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW

This can be anything from using a mixture of old and new craft goodies, like I have, or wedding theme, engagement etc, etc.

The rest of my elements have all come from my stash that i have had for quite some time.

The image I have used is called LILY and is available HERE I coloured her with Graph It Markers and Copics (skin Tones), the papers are LOTV both image and papers have been mounted onto black cardstock, I added the doily, flower pearls, satin ribbon bow, sentiment and Lily flowers.
