ONE FOR THE GIRLS AT ALLSORTS

Good morning all, today is the start of our new challenge at

ALLSORTS

the theme chosen is

ONE FOR THE GIRLS

the prizes available to be one are a Tattered Lace Die and a Woodware Stamp.

 

My DT card below is a festive one I have used one of my Bildmalarna Stamps coloured with Copics.

The papers are from my Bearly Mine CD (no longer available) both the image and the frame have been cut using dies, I added a die cut gold snowflake a sentiment and some gems.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

My second card I have just finished making using a new digi from Pink Gem Designs called Winter Willow, I have coloured her with a mix of markers the papers are from my CD, I have added glitter card for mounting and for some of the punched snowflakes I have also added some Diamond Stickles

Many, many thanks for your lovely comments on my previous post the are so much appreciated.

My mum and brother are having their flu jobs next Friday and their Covid booster jabs 2 weeks later.

I am not impressed with this but I am not sure the receptionists will accept my call after I lost my temper with them last week. I might even be 'blacklisted', what made me so angry was that the receptionist I was talking to suggested that I 'bundle my mum and brother into my car and take them to a drive through clinic the other side of town', I am afraid I could not believe what they said, I insisted that I speak to a Doctor or the Office Manager, I was told that someone would ring me back, believe it or not I never received any calls, I cannot put into words what I think or feel, I suppose I should be 'grateful' that they finally contacted my brother to advise him when they were finally coming.

They are both ok at the moment and I am off to see them now so I hope to be able to visit you all a little later.

A BIT MORE CHRISTMAS & BUDDY BLOSSOMS

 Good morning, today I have two cards to share with you the being a Christmas one for the reminder of our challenge at

I have used my large Woodware Bauble stamp and stenciled the background I coloured it with Nuvo markers the sentiment comes with the stamp

I have taken a wee break from Christmas cards and made a 'with love' card, I coloured Buddy with a mix of markers, the papers are also a mix from my stash I added butterflies and liquid pearls, I used my MCS programme to insert the sentiment.

POPPY LOVE & WESTIE CHRISTMAS

 Good morning all, firstly may I thank you with all my heart for the birthday wishes that you sent my mum, she had a lovely day.

Today I would like to share two cards with you the first is my Ching Chou Kuik FB DT card I have used the image POPPY LOVE the theme this month is Thank You, Thinking of You and remembrance, this week the DT were challenged to make a Shabby Chic card I hope that this passes.

I coloured the image with a mix of markers the papers are from my stash and I distressed the edges, I added a vintage style ribbon, lace, liquid pearls  and flower.

My second card is a Christmas one I have used the image WESTIE CHRISTMAS from Di's Digital Store I have coloured him with a mix of markers, the papers are Anne-Marie, I cut some extra shapes and added twine, I distressed the edges with TH Vintage Photo Ink die cut flower and leaves and added a sentiment.

Once again many thanks for your comments both on Facebook and here I actually did  not see my mum yesterday, I had had a dispute with the doctors receptionist the previous day and it upset me so much I was in tears for most of yesterday, I knew that most of the family would be seeing her and I am off to see her today.

I am taking a break from my Ching Chou Kuik DT duties as I feel I need more time to spend with mum, the scare we had a couple of weeks ago really shook me up and made me wake up to the fact just how old and vulnerable she is I have always thought that she would be with me forever.

IT'S MY MUMS BIRTHDAY TODAY

 Hi all, today my mum celebrates her 102nd birthday, I took this picture of her yesterday after I had given her both a pedicure and manicure I think she looks so beautiful. Below are two cards I made for her the first one I made at the request of a gentleman who knows one of my brothers the second card is from me, it is another whopper card 7" x 12"

MERRY AND BRIGHT

For my DT card I have used the image

I have coloured her with a mix of markers, the base card I embossed, I added a die cut snowflake and some smaller punched ones, the papers are from my stash.

Mums Christmas Card

 Hi all, today I would like to share with you a Christmas card I have made for my mum

I have gone to town on this one, I have used Anne-Marie DP for the base, Flowers, Frosted Berries, Large Gold Star, Pine Cones, Flower dies and of course a cutie little bear that I got from Di's Digital Shop called Candy Cane Bear, I coloured the image with Copic and Graphic markers then cut him out without his candy cane, I also tipped a lot of gold glitter onto the side display which I am not sure you can see but boy does it sparkle, I think my mum will like this.
