DELIGHTFUL THURSDAY

I can't believe it is Thursday already but it is and the sun is trying to shine but boy is it chilly.  Today is the 

DIGITAL DELIGHTS

day for showing the DT makes that feature some of the beautiful images that are in  store

For my card I have used the gorgeous image

FLOWER POWER SUNFLOWER

I have coloured her with Graph It Markers and Copics for the skin tones, I used my Spellbinders oval die for the frame the papers are Bearly Mine, I also added some ribbon, crochet flowers, card candy and pearls.

If you pop over to the blog you will see an excellent line up of projects by the DT their work is both creative and so inspirational, well worth the view.

SOME GREAT NEWS

I wanted to share my news with you all and that is I am now a DT for

 Digital Delights, I am thrilled to have been given this wonderful opportunity, I am so blessed to be working as a DT on three fantastic teams, My Besties, The Stamping Chef and now Digital Delights, wow, I really don't know what I have done to deserve it.

If you visit the Digital Delights blog you will be able to meet all the DT, pictures as well, please don't be put off with mine, it is the first one I have had taken in 20 years.

I have coloured Daisy with Graph It Markers I then cut here out and adhered her with silicone glue to the central frame, the papers are a mixture from my stash, I used a Tattered Lace Flower die then added some lovely little resin daisy flowers, a die cut dragon fly and stamped sentiment.

HAVE A LOVELY DAY

Hi all, today I have a card to share with you and to enter into a few challenges.  

For my card I have used a 6 x 6 scalloped card base, I embossed the blue linen card stock with a trellis folder, the papers are from Elusive Images (now Chocolate Baroque) I then added some ribbon, flower pearls and sentiment.  The image and sentiment are from DIGITAL DELIGHTS I have coloured both with Graph Markers and kept the colour theme turquoise.

The challenges I would like to enter are as follows:

If you look at the close up image you may see that I added glossy accents to the water drops and flower heads.   

Turquoise is not a colour that I have ever focused on before but I really love it as a change to using blue hues.

Digital Tuesday Challenge #69 DT Card

Hi all today we have a new challenge at Digital Tuesday and this week our lovely Maria has chosen the theme Dazzle Me.

So what would you like to Dazzle us with gems, glitter, sunshine or just the beauty of your work the theme is open to your imagination and creativity which I know you all have.....I have seen it for myself.

 I have used an image from them for my card it is a new release called Lili the Skunk and I love her to bits. So here is my card I actually made this while still unwell so I hope you like it.

I have used bp from Kaiser 6x6 pad the red is plain but the flower part is all glittered, I actually cut the big flower from the paper/card and have used 3mm foam to lift it from the card, I also did the same with the little purple and pink flowers.  I have added some gems to add even more 'dazzle'.

I took several photos to see if I could show the glitter and I think these two show it better.

I have coloured Lili with promarkers and added star dust stickles to the center of the little flowers and butterfly.
