Butterfly Delight

Hi all, I now have my Laptop back, I collected it this morning after it received it's annual service.  I can now get back to visiting you all, I would like to thank you for all your lovely comments while I have been off air.

I made a card today for the following challenges:

The Crazy Challenge - Summertime

For my card I used some Amethyst card stock and made a 4x4 card base then used my Hougie board to make the easel shape.  The topper I made by using some graph paper to draw an Art Deco shape then used the template on some Lilac Silk art card and embossed the shape with the Hougie board. I used some silver mirri card and Amethyst card for the sides and central panel.

I added some Lilac taffeta ribbon and bow, I punched a border and added a stamped sentiment, the Butterfly is wood mounted which I inked with Onyx Versafine ink, stamped twice then coloured with an Amethyst promarker, I added flowers for the antenna. and 3d'd the butterfly.

Digital Tuesday Challenge #119

Hi all today we have a new challenge for you to try out at

DIGITAL TUESDAY

we would like to see you use Spellbinders or other dies on your cards/projects

This week I decided to make two DT cards 

The first one I have used a digi image from Crafty Sentiments

The papers are Bearlymine and I have used my new Spellbinder dies.

For my second card I have used an image from our sponsor called Cletus, I have coloured him with promarkers. I have used a linen type blue card for the base and the die cuts which are the Deckled edged centre die also the corners and border, the papers are Bearlymine 

I cut the front portion of the card diagonally to show off the border die more effectively. 

I have asked blogger to post this for me as my laptop has gone in to have it's annual service check and I am not sure if I will have it back in time to do the post.  I would like to enter my cards into some challenges but will have to do that a little later.

For my card I have used Basic Grey papers, raffia twine and grosgrain ribbon, the image I found in my Wink, Wink, Wink folder and coloured her with Copics, I used a Nestie to cut the image and a frame out.  I added some candy, flower, pearls, sun and stamped sentiment.
