Hi all, thank you so much for visiting and leaving comments on my previous posts, your continued support and friendship is very much appreciated especially as I am not around very much at the moment.
The good news is my mum is now out of hospital but she has lost so much weight, she looks so small and frail, her 97th birthday is in November so I decided to make her an early birthday gift.
I used a large MDF Teapot base from Dreamees, I covered it with paper also from the Dreamees, I sanded around the edges then used TH Vintage Photo ink to distress the edges, I added a doily and some more Dreamees paper. The flowers are all stamped, embossed and cut out, they are a mixture of flowers from the Dreamees range of stamps.
Two varieties I stamped onto the same papers as I used on the base of the Teapot, the others I stamped onto gold vellum, I added a bow, hat pins, pearls, and die cut heart and Mum, also die cut leaves.
I then decided to add a couple of my older Magnolia images one I have paper pieced the other I coloured with markers, I also added some stickles to the leaves.
Considering I am not crafting very much at the moment I was pleased with the outcome of my project and mum can hang it on her wall.
I would like to enter my project into the following challenges:
See you soon
Hugs
