MEET MY NEW GRANDSON

Hi all, I am so proud to be able to show you a picture of my first Grandchild, he was born this morning at 9.45am weighing in at 8lb, mum, dad and baby are doing well.

I probably will not be around much for the next few days but I will see you all soon

CARD CHAIN CHALLENGE

Hi all, today I would like to share my card that i made for the January

Card Chain Challenge

I chose to use the Animal theme

The main image is a stamp that I got from Joanna Sheen many years ago, I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black ink then cut it out with a Spellbinders oval die and matching scalloped frame, I embossed the white card, the flowers are also stamped, the top die is from Marianne Designs, finally I added just a touch of yellow and some black and white pearl drops.

I would like to enter my card onto the following challenge:

PURRFECT LOVE

Hi all, before I talk about my card I really want to thank everyone for their comments on my previous post it was so emotional to have so many friends congratulating me on my win, you are so kind and thoughtful, thank you.

I have a card to share with you today and enter into some challenges.

I found a set of Gorjuss stamps that I have never used before and chose this one as it is the month of 'Love' and this set is called Purrfect Love

I stamped the image 4 times so I could paper piece her dress, hat, cat, heart, socks and boots, I also stamped a cat on it's own as it was a separate stamp, I also used the small hearts, tag, sentiment and star stamps that are in the set, the papers are actually from the Santoro Gorjuss range that I ordered from Create and Craft a little while back.

I added a black punched scalloped border, stamped flowers, gold pearl drops and beads in a bottle for the flower centres, the main white frame is from a set of Tonic dies I distressed the edges with TH ink.
