Penny Black Challenge

Well this is my second attempt at this challenge and I have done a circular card that looks a bit like a doiley. I used my x cut circular thingys and then cut it out with a pair of fancy scissors and embossed it with a cuttlebug folder I did the same with the yellow circle then added some fancy ribbon and the image which I love I coloured it with my promarkers. Hope you like it but please tell me the truth.

Just a card

Hi well I made a boo boo. I thought the Penny Black challenge this week was 'circles' so I made this card thinking it would be ok. But the theme is 'circle card' so I will have to try again. Anyway as I had scanned this card in I thought I might as well let you see it just in case you like it. It was a lot of hard work as well with all that ribbon never used so much ribbon on a card lol. I did enjoy it though which is the whole point of crafting....lol. Let me know what you think please.

Ooh la la challenge

This is my entry for this week's Ooh-la-la-challenge the theme being Black & Gold. I have given stamping a rest and used my Big Shot and cuttlebug embossing folder, Swiss Dots, to emboss the hearts which I cut with my Cricut. I found some gold ribbon from my stash and added the black and gold jewels. Finally I used a Cuddly Buddly round greetings stamp stamped onto black card then mounted onto gold mirri card and cut round with pinking scissors. My main reason for creating this one is that Valentines day is getting closer and this may come in useful.

House Mouse Challenge

Hi I am pleased as punch that I have found a new challenge blog just for the 'House Mouse'. I have several of these stamps and they are really cute so now I can use them regularly. If you want to join in this challenge the logo is in my side bar or click on the link in this post.

Ok the challenge for this week is 'paper pricking' which is also a first for me. I have pricked the blue card around the image and also the layer of blue card on the side I mounted on pink card so you could see it (I hope). The image is a favourite and I coloured it with my promarkers. I hope you like it.

A little bit of Sunshine

This is my entry to this weeks My Time To Craft Challenge the theme being 'Sunshine'. I decided to use a Messy Rabbit background paper again and added two of my new stamps from Cuddly Buddly, well I have had them for some time but this was the perfect time to get them out. I have used my promarkers to colour the images. I have added glitter to the sun the top of the beach huts and the sand.

Ive been tagged

Well lovely Stef has tagged me and the rules of this is to go to your 6th folder and pick the 6th picture and then explain the picture. Well I don't think this needs much explaining and if James (my son) knew I had put this on my blog for all to see I think he would not be a happy bunny. I took this picture when James was about 8 months old and having a bath. I had bought the safety thing that he sat in to make sure he wouldn't fall and doesn't he look lovely. He grew up to hate water but now he swims like a fish. Now I have to choose six more bloggers to tag so here goes.

Christine, Alison, Suzanne, Chrissie, Beryl (Bik's home), Irene.

I will now leave a message for them so that they can now do the honours.

I have used some lovely floral backing paper, a new image from Penny Black as is the sentiment. I have used Lyra watercolours on this one which makes the image more subtle and I have added some lovely satin bows.
