Meet Oliver the Owl

Hi all, this is my card for this weeks Sew Many Challenges #2 the theme is to use Purple, White and a splash of black and I have used Oliver the Owl.  I was thrilled to bits when I found that I was one of the 5 runner ups and won three Digital images, this is one of them.

The base paper is from Joanna Sheen's gingham pad, Oliver has been placed in a frame using MCS graphics programme, I then printed him again cut him out and placed him on top of the first image with silicone.  I coloured him with pro markers and added some embossed punched out daisy flowers with a gem in the middle of each one.  I also mounted the embossed card onto black card then added a Fred She Said flower punched out some leaves from black card and added them, then I found some black stickers in my stash and put four little black flowers in each corner ....I hope you like it and believe me the colour is purple which always looks different when a picture is taken.

This picture is a close up of the 3d effect which I hope you can see.

Prairie Fairy Challenge #3 - Open

Hi all today is the start of challenge #3 at Prairie Fairy and it is anything goes week.  I have used an image that is available from Prairie Fairy and coloured it with Copics I have used a frame from Crafty Ann's Digi Shop added some punched daisy's and gems the papers are Papermania.  It would be lovely to see you enter the challenge to see your lovely creations.

Flutter by Wednesday, Simon Says, Creative Card Crew

Hi everyone thank you so much for your lovely comments they do so make my day.

This is a card I have made that will fit three challenges the first is Flutterby Wednesday the theme is to use a Fairy, angel or/and Butterfly but also some embossing, the second and third is Simon Says and Creative Card Crew who both want to see 'Punched' anything that has been used with a punch.

I have used an 8"x8" card and two different colours of blue pearlescent papers, the darker one I have embossed and also punched out several butterflies using my MS punch.  I have added some beads, sentiment and also a new shape which I saw on one of the blogs I visit and followed a tutorial (sorry forgot which one but when I see it again I will let you have the link).  I think the concertina flower turned out a bit large but then I thought I would put another flower in the middle and I am more than pleased with the effect I hope you are.  Hugs to all and see you later.

I'm Spinning Around

Hi all this is a card I have made for two challenges the first being Allsorts the theme is Pink and Brown the second is Cooking It Up with Katie the recipe is Non-Human Image, Something New (Image), add some texture.

So what have I done here, well firstly I have used my new image from Squigglefly the Shy Bears spinning on hearts and coloured with Copics, also punched some circles and used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder to give the texture I also added a ribbon and some pink stars.

Digital Tuesday Challenge #42 - Sketch

It's Tuesday and the day for another challenge at Digital Tuesday and this week we have a sketch for you to play with.  It can be flipped any which way but the main design should still show and we would love to see your designs, all we ask is that at least one Digital Image is used.

and here is my DT card, this week our sponsor is The Cutting Cafe and there are some fabulous Love and Valentine themed stuff to be had over there and I have used one of their images plus the sentiment.

I know my son and some of his mates will be asking me if I have any Valentine cards they can use so I thought this would be a good opportunity to make a card so they will have a bit of a choice.

I have used Papermania bp, silk red flowers and red mirror card which is also embossed I hope you like it and do come join in.

I've Gone Green

Hi all I made this card yesterday using a new Digi that I got from Character Cafe and is called Cupcake Rosebud, she is totally beautiful.  I think this little girl has everything....looks, humour and a cake.  I decided to use a green theme and coloured her with Copics I used a sentiment from the Cutting Cafe, various backing papers and a flower. I am entering this into The Corrosive Challenge who require you to use a Digi Image.
