Sir Stampalot and Whoopsie Daisy Challenges for August

Hi all today is going to be exciting with some wonderful challenges starting with the first which  is

 Sir Stampalot and this month we want to see you Bring on the Bling.  The prize as always is awesome as shown in this picture below.  (Please ensure that the rules of the challenge are followed as any that do not meet our requirements will be deleted.) It was lovely to see all the beautiful entries last month the winner and top three will be announced late this month as Brenda is on holiday.

Ok now onto my DT card which I think shows quite a lot of bling.

For my card I have used my 'flower mask' stamp that I got from Stamp Addicts many moons ago but remains one of my favorites.  I decided on a Purple theme, the bp are Basic Grey Wisteria, I coloured the mask with Sakura Stardust pens and added stickles for extra shine.  I mounted the mask image with silicone onto silver mirror card to which I also added some crystal gems, the final touch was to added some purple and sliver card candy.  Below are two pictures showing closer detail.

I punched out some butterflies from the sliver mirror card and added again for extra bling.

Now onto my second DT card for this month's challenge at 

Whoopsie Daisy 

this month Pinky chose the theme of Blue's and Greens

Here is my card.

This is my first ever double pocket card I followed a tutorial at Crafty Ann's HERE and is really so easy it is a beautiful fold and you can add tags or maybe something a little more.

I have used an image from sheet 169 available HERE

The papers are SU I coloured the image with Copics I added a sentiment, gems, card candy and flowers I also made a tag to show the pockets.

Sir Stampalot Challenge #2 DT Card

Morning folks it is the start of Sir Stampalot second monthly challenge today and another whopper of a prize for the winning entry...here it is

Included in this magnificent prize is the Tim Holtz new Compendium book and has actually been signed by the man himself there is also stamps, embossing powders, DVD and the list goes on.

So our challenge this month is

 BUTTERFLIES AND BLOSSOMS

and here is my DT card

For my card I have used an 8x8 base card and a Serendipity stamp of Lilac and butterfly I stamped and coloured the image twice then punched out parts of the second image mounted them onto scalloped Nesties sprinkled with Amazing Glaze and embossed so in real life there is a shine on them.  The main image had been coloured with promarkers the butterfly part of the stamp I stamped three times so I could layer it up the sentiment is also from Serendipity. I used a MS punch for the corners and for the strip along the centre the bp is DCWV Butterflies and Blossoms pad I also attached lilac corners and a bow.  Unfortunately the lilac looks blue on the photo but not in real life.  I hope you can come join us again this month the entries for our first challenge was pure quality.

Sir Stampalot Challenge Launch Day

Hi all  I wish you a very good morning and a warm welcome to you all for the launch of our new

 Sir Stampalot Challenge.

The day we have all been eagerly awaiting has finally arrived, it's seemed forever coming and we really have all been bursting at the seams for the chance to share all our excitement with you.

Over the coming months we have some fantastic themes lined up for you, along with some fabulous prizes from Sir Stampalot. Our challenges will each run for a month and we hope the information in the sidebar at the challenge blog will help you familiarise yourself with how it all works. Any questions please yell.

I bet you all want to know what theme and what you could win in our very first challenge. Our first theme is:

"Fantasy"

It is entirely up to you what you create and how you interpret the theme and we are so looking forward to visiting you all and seeing your wonderful creations.

This is my contribution for our 'Fantasy' theme 

So where do I start lol......I was really away with the fairies when I first thought about this card I knew the stamp I wanted to use as soon as I learnt what the challenge was, isn't it funny that one word can conjure up a stamp that has never been used that has been in the box for years well that is what happened to me.  I bought the main top stamp years ago from a local craft shop (now closed) it is a Creative Expression stamp from the Oasis range.  I very much wanted the black, white and silver theme the stamps on the bottom of this A5 easel card are from Elusive Images. The roses I made myself the bottom background I used Cosmic Shimmer Glimmer Mist Silver, all images have been stamped using Versafine Onyx Black the butterflies are MS triple butterfly punch.  I hope you like it and will so enjoy seeing what you come up with.
